I've been using these for over a year now and they have served me very well. You just have to understand their limitations- the main one being that you don't want to drop them on the floor. The other is that the max weight is 27.5 lbs. So yes, if you're very strong and you like going to failure, you might be a little disappointed. However, if you're an average person like me and just want to get in a decent home workout, these could be perfect for you. The adjustment mechanism is easy to use and the weight increments make a lot of sense. They start out with 2.5-lb increases with the lower weights and jump up to 5-lb increases at the higher end. You can do anything you would do with normal dumbbells- bench presses, shoulder presses, curls, triceps extensions, rows, flys, lunges, etc. The plates do move around a little bit, which can be scary at first. However, I've never had one fall out on me and over time you will develop trust in the equipment. I do feel like they aren't perfectly evenly weighted, meaning that you'll want the two red bar things aligned when you're doing your exercises. Maybe that's all in my head. In my mind those things are a small price to pay for the space and money you save with these. Here's my setup- I have a squat rack and associated bar/plates for heavy, going-to-failure type of workouts and then I have these in the corner for high-rep stuff or for when I'm not going to failure and don't feel like swapping out plates all the time. Yes, I know that's a weird, lazy thing to avoid when I'm trying to work out, but that's how the human mind works sometimes. These really make my home gym a lot more versatile and they take up almost no space. The price is very low to compare to other expensive one out there , but you just have to think about how much it would cost to buy all the dumbbells you would want. Then you might buy something like a 12.5-lb dumbbell not knowing if you'll ever actually use that one or not. Also, think about how much a monthly gym membership costs, plus the associated transportation. Not to mention the time wasted going back and forth to the gym. If you get these plus a good quality bench (don't go cheap on the bench), you're going to be able to stay in shape if you're motivated to do so.

I am an unfit guy. If I had 5 different weight sizes going on in a room, people would be asking “Just why? You’re not fit. What do you do with these? Put them on your George Forman grill lid because you’re too weak to press down on a panini for 3 minutes?” I can hide these bad boys in half the space in my closet and let them collect dust without that pesky monthly gym membership to ignore. When I pick them up they seem very sturdy and easy to move the weight a adjustment peg. It is a spring mechanism you pull out (no screwing and unscrewing needed) Not sure if the adjusters were sticky at first or if I got used to the mechanism, but it’s really quite effortless. They make a subtle ‘clink’ noise if you rotate them like when doing a curl. They feel sturdy and secure in that I didn’t feel like the plates could fall off. If you are a fit individual I’d imagine you could pick these up like 1,000,000 and be swole and stuff.

I’ve used a set of these at home for the past 3 months and am very happy with the purchase. They’re easy to use and take up very little space, especially compared to how many individual dumbbells they replace. My only complaint is that after using them for 2 months (about 3-4 times per week), the pick on one of them stopped sliding (so it was stuck on the lowest weight). I contacted the company directly and was put in touch with Amy, who was incredibly responsive and helpful in fixing the issue. I’m impressed by not only the weight, but also the customer service.

I received my order about a week ago and found one of the two weights I ordered, a bottom weight holding tray (plastic) was partially broken. Since the weights were not damaged, instead of contacting Amazon to send the whole unit back for replacement, I contacted the vendor directly to see if they were willing to send the replacement bottom tray. I thought that was a win-win situation. The vendor responded promptly and I just received the replacement tray yesterday via DHL express service (from China). I haven't really used the weights yet, LOL. But these are actually 2nd sets of these weights I ordered. I bought a set in last summer for my son and I really liked how it felt. They feel very comfortable to hold and the weight distribution is awesome. I have to say it's a bit pricey but I think it's the value if they lasts. Only time will tell. The locking mechanism seem to work well and hopefully they will not wear out to be dangerous. But so far so good.

Glad I put this item in my amazon cart... so that I was alerted to price changes. Was able to snag one of these for $71 which I think is a great deal. Easy to use, right out of box. Switching to different weights is straightforward and easy to do between sets of exercises. Great weight increments: 5.5lbs,11 lbs, 16.5lbs, 22lbs, 27.5lbs) I may not use the higher settings much, but it's worth it for the 16.5lbs and 22lbs,. Before I was trying to hold two small dumbbells at same time, to get to 16 or 22lbs... and always afraid of dropping one. Great design feature in my opinion is the ends of the dumbbell -- which are like big round hockey pucks. You feel secure holding the dumbbell crossways, with both hands.... you've got a good grip. Also, I actually cautiously swung this dumbbell like a kettle bell, while holding it in middle (NOT by the weight stack itself). And I did NOT swing it hard, or high, or at highest weight setting. Seemed ok with that movement.

This are super easy to use. I have the older bowflex (which goes up to 20lbs- which is fine for me since I am a senior) and with those you have to adjust both sides of the weights. No big deal but here you just need to do one. This helps me since I do online personaa training and the faster I change the weights the faster I get to the next exercise. These are well made and a super value for the money. They are in kilos so the weights won't be exactly the 5,10,15, etc pounds. Each kilo is 2.2 lbs so the 2.5 would be about 5 1/2lbs, etc. This is not a drawback just wanted to give a heads up

Cadeau pour mon fils, qui fait de la muscu dans sa chambre avec la fermeture des salles. Heureusement la livraison s'est faite très rapidement avec Amazon Prime car il était impatient. Le carton est vraiment très solide et l'ensemble est très bien emballé avec soin. C'est un set d'haltères au top et très pratique. Plus besoin de plusieurs poids car tout est sur le même dispositif. Grâce au sélectionneur on choisit facilement le poids qu'on veut soulever avec des poids allant de 2,5kg à 12kg il y en a pour tous les niveaux. La prise en main est facile (poignée est ergonomique et antidérapante) , le grip est agréable et facile à régler. L'haltère est efficace pour faire des séries avec des poids différents et entre chaque haltère il y a un petit écart qui évite d'avoir du bruit quand on s'entraîne avec. Rangement optimisé et qualité au rendez-vous.

Ho acquistato il manubrio regolabile che avevo sempre e solo visto in video, e l'ho trovato fenomenale per una mia piccola home gym che sto facendo appunto in casa. Li ho trovati essenziali per risparmiare spazio e la rapidità con cui si modifica il peso lo rende perfetto per allenamenti ad alta intensità o senza riposo tra una serie e l'altra, a mio avviso sostituisce molto bene una rastrelliera composta da diverse coppie, ma occupando lo spazio di poco più di una coppia. I materiali sono molto buoni, il peso rispecchia quanto dichiarato e tutto sembra essere di ottima fattura. Anche esteticamente fa la sua bella figura e la base d'appoggio fa si di averli sempre ben stabili e saldi a terra. Davvero molto molto consigliati! Sicuramente il prezzo non è bassissimo ma bisogna paragonarlo ad almeno 4 coppie di manubri di diverso peso

Arrivati puntuali e ottimamente confezionati, anche se per acquistarne 2 ho dovuto prenderli su account diversi,ad un prezzo molto vantaggioso. Appena aperti, sul bilanciere "troneggia" un bel adesivo con su scritto MADE IN CHINA,come a voler indicare, ora son problemi vostri!! (ma non scandalizzati, ormai è quasi tutto cinese ma ciò non è sinonimo sempre di scarsa qualità.. Anzi!) testati subito, di questo marchio possiedo anche la panca, devo dire che son fatti bene impugnatura anti scivolo, facile cambiare il peso del manubrio ecc. IMPENSABILE avere una piccola home gym a casa con altra tipologia di manubri, almeno che non abbiate molto spazio, per fare serie ripetizioni ecc. In pochi secondi si può sostituire il peso per una comodità unica. Oggi dopo un mese da me testati quasi giornalmente non potrei farne a meno. Per ovviare al problema del rumore nel cambio del peso e negli esercizi ho messo dei piccoli feltri adesivi, ciò non inficia in nessun modo con l'uso corretto dell'attrezzatura. Pienamente soddisfatto!

Als Ergänzung zum Bodyweight-Training habe ich mich zum Krafttraining nach einer Kurzhantel umgeschaut. Letztendlich habe ich mich dann für die ATIVAFIT Kurzhantel entschieden. Mit dieser Entscheidung bin ich auch sehr zufrieden. Die Hantel ist sehr wertig gearbeitet. Der System zum Bestücken der Hantel ist so genial wie ich es erhofft habe. Über das Schiebesystem wird das Gewicht eingestellt und je nach Einstellung die nicht benötigten Scheiben freigegeben bzw. auch gelockt. In Verbindung mit der Hantel-Halterung welche pro Scheibe entsprechende Vertiefungen hat gelingt dies super. Die Hantel muss hier lediglich eingelegt werden. Dann wird das Gewicht eingestellt und die Hantel wieder entnommen. Einfach und genial. Ebenso gefällt mit der Griff der Hantel gut. Besser als das übliche kaltes Metall. Sehr angenehm zu halten und rutschfest. Somit ist das Training auch sicher möglich. Die einstellbaren Gewichtsklassen entsprechen ebenfalls meinem Trainingslevel und Zielen. Mit mehr als der von mir gewählten Ausführung "12,5 kg" mag ich persönlich auch gar nicht trainieren. Die Abstufung der Einstellung in 2,5kg Schritten erweist sich als sinnvoll. Ich bin mit der Hantel sehr zufrieden und kann sie als Ausstattung fürs private Fitnessstudio sehr empfehlen.

Fairly easy to adjust weights. Decent quality. Would recommend for a good price.
