This review is for the Home Security Pen Camera, 1080 Camera with 64GB Memory Card Hidden Spy Detector, Surveillance Camera for business, Meeting, Learning, Home Security. None of the other reviews listed appear to be for this product. It was delivered in a timely manner. The package contained the HD camera Pen, instructions in English and in several additional languages, a USB cable, a Micro 64 GB SD Card, a SD Micro Card to USB reader, five extra ink cartridges, and a tool for inserting and removing the ink cartridges.The HD Camera Pen worked; however not as stated in the instructions. The instructions were not explicit and did not describe the product operation in sufficient detail. The instructions did not provide guidance for inserting or removing the ink carriages from the pen. Fortunately this was intuitive upon examination of the ink cartridges and the tool provided. The advertisement states: “...Video not record sound (Via no sound policy)….” This would appear to mean that the pen does not record audio; however, this is not the case. The pen does record sound which is good as it would not be of much value if there were no sound. While not mentioned in the advertisement or in the instructions, recording video and sound without the knowledge of all persons present could lead to legal issues in some states/jurisdictions. Normally in a public place photography, video, sound recording are legal.The instructions stated: “...Charge battery: When connecting the camera pen to a power supply, the red light will be solid on. The red light will turn to blue when the camera pen is fully charged….” This did not happen. In my case, the red light did not come on when plugged into a power supply. After pushing the top button and holding it for three seconds the red light blinked three times and continued to blink until it was removed from the power supple.The quality of the picture is quite good based on the size of the camera and for its intended purpose. I would recommend this product provided it is used in a legal manner.

The media could not be loaded.  Well, as an Airline pilot I travel all over the world and I don’t like the idea of housekeeping going through my stuff when I’m not in the room. So the video clip I shot is a segment out of the camera pen. That’s me walking in. It was shot at 1080p and it did pick up even the slightest audio. the distance from the desk to the door is about 25 feet. It seems a little bit grainy, but the quality is still there and I think if you were wearing this on a dress shirt and pocket it would pick up everything you need to pick up. The instructions were very simple and they were easy to follow. It came with an SD card and the charging cable. It charged rapidly and everything worked as advertised. I’ve purchased cameras like this before. Most of them are all made in China and a lot of them are just cheaply made . But I definitely like this and back it up this one as being good. As for the pen part it writes just like any other pen would. It is a bit larger diameter than most pens, but does not look unusual in a pocket.

Would not record at all.Waste of time and money definitely returning it.

It is very discreet and definitely would not come off as intrusive however it does lack on quality, the image is grainy especially in low light. The size of the pen is much like any other pen. The camera is not 1080p and it certainly is not a wide angle it is very zoomed in and points upward example if you clip it in your shirt pocket you will be recording the upper third of the wall and a vast majority of the ceiling.Battery life you can expect to get about an hour or so of recording this depends on how much of a charge you have and how large your MicroSD is it will accept up to 128 GB which if it was recording true 1080p I’d imagine would be capable of capturing about 5-7 hours of footage without having to delete any footage. So battery life is decent for what it is.Is it worth it? In my opinion no even with the discount you should definitely keep looking unless you plan on recording a class or something where the video is not as important then this would be for you because the audio quality is excellent!Overall a very compact device with good battery life, and good audio quality. Image quality could definitely use some fine tuning.

Upon receiving my Aiacmea pen, I immediately went to charge it and start reading instructions. The pen uses an older USB mini-A port for charging. In a nutshell, it definitely does record video/audio, has ink like a pen, and I very much like that the camera lens is hidden on the pen based on the design cover.That said, a few things jumped out at me:1. The instructions don't do a good job of deciphering the various light functions or color/flash combinations. When I initially plugged up the pen (without a memory card), the light flashed red about 3 times and nothing else. What the instructions described as what would happen vs. what actually did were very different. Adding the memory card and plugging it up, the light flashed blue, then went out. Also different from what was in instructions.2. Inserting the memory card was a bit difficult. It didn't appear to go in easily, and on several attempts, it felt stuck and not wanting to go fully into the slot. I eventually got it in, but I would have expected the card to just slide in easily.3. I wouldn't say this is 1080p. The videos that I did review were a bit grainy and I was in a fully lit room, but the audio sounded good.Overall, it'll work as intended, and could likely help you when you need it.

This is more of a unique item rather than a sophisticated technology product, but that is the point I think. Have some fun recording and watching the result on your laptop or tablet or home computer. The information provided to use the pen is lacking somewhat but they do have a good video to watch that demonstrates how to use the product. Very good follow up by the seller who responded promptly to my questions. Get the product and have some fun!
