I looked for an affordable Louis Philippe-style mirror for ages. I needed something big enough for my mantle that looked authentic but without all the ornate details. Literally everything was over $1k or too small. Then I found this beauty !! It's held up so well over the last year. It's stunning, not too shiny and has just the right amount of detail.

When the mirror arrived the box was in pretty bad shape and I was nervous it was broken. Once I unpacked it I was so excited to see it was perfect and beautiful. It looks really expensive and we’ve gotten a bunch of compliments already! Very happy with the purchase.

I have ordered four of these mirrors and three arrived broken. Of course the first one I ordered was perfectly fine so it is already hung over my nightstand and now I’m missing the matching pair over the second nightstand. I’ve talked with Hamilton Hills customer service with very little response and emails bouncing back often. The price has changed throughout this process and they have not been helpful with getting me the original price I paid for them. Still I was willing to continue to purchase to find that second match and now I am at a loss with only one mirror. Beautiful mirror, just very frustrating that they haven’t figured out the packaging/shipping.

This is a reproduction of a French Louis Philippe mirror from the 1800s. They are still available from antique dealers for well over $1,000. This company is a small family company and the quality of this item was excellent! It came very well packaged and the company followed up with me personally to make sure everything was OK. The gold finish looks antique. It looks like a gold leaf and it is appropriately verigated. It Looks rich and authentic. The mirror is heavy and well constructed. It’s a great value for a classical reproduction.

The frame of this mirror is beautiful and it would have been a beautiful mirror if it had not arrived completely shattered...

I want this mirror but the hassle of having to return it is discouraging me from ordering a replacement.
