Was a great build for teenage son
I read this model wasn't a hard build, but it has given further play-value, as the remote control app is very good.At the price we paid, it was good value, and as with all lego set sets, the build quality is excellent. My 15yr had this for his birthday, and was very pleased with the remote control app, saying it has added more fun for this build. 5 stars.

Unbelievable value actually. Great new powered up control unit and remote
The new mechanics are amazing - great controls and sensors that is actually better than a normal remote control car but it's Lego, and you build it yourself, and it's so much cheaper than you would expect for what it is. Unbelievable value actually. So pleased with this one - having bought multiple multiple remote control cars and Lego sets this is so good.

Value and quality 👌
Usually I don't buy lego anymore but the colour caught my eye and thus is the first car that I've made by lego which is r/got to say it's a very pretty car with nice stickers and good colour scheme a little bit too easy to build but I'm an expert so no complaints works really well for a r/c car with just one motor and has lights backand front

Interesting to build and play with
Was a bit worried the build might be rather like some other supercar ones we've done recently, but no, completely different throughout. The end product is quite large at about 37cm long, but the level of detail e.g. the nicely closing doors is excellent as a result. The motor brain is pretty ingenious, including in one large module (plus clip-in rechargeable battery) the main drive, steering motor and LEDs that connect to the cars light clusters via fibre-optic style light pipes. The remote control (Bluetooth) app is OK but is enormous because it seems to include videos for all products in the range rather than just downloading the resources for the owned kits. As such it struggles to install even with supposedly ample storage space. The app offers a couple of different control schemes which are flippable for left/right handed preferences. The car's battery itself charges in situ via USB-C via one of the side doors; it is not easily removable from the car once built, and unless Lego produce a separate charger it has to be charged in place anyway. Note that as supplied, the battery may not have enough charge to run the diagnostic tests, so do plug it in before you start. Overall good fun and fair value, and if the rumours are true that Lego's Powered Up app works with this too, it should give it some extra mileage.
