Well, this movie was kind of an old one made back in 1999 and luckily I think it was remastered in HD as looking to the image it definately was.It is about Daniel Auteuil who came to UK who has a family but has some problem. He is a writer-actually a wanna be writer is a better word.He meets this young escort man who also works at a cafe. He suggests him to work as an escort man and he barely succeds to do so with the first woman. From then on, he prety much did his job will.But maybe because of his age-he is maybe about late 40s or early 50s by then- he cannot eract all the time so he begins to use drugs and everything becomes caos.He also falls in love with another hooker woman who has a young pimp.His wife found out his job and all, his life becomes more and more confused.The nudity is very very mininal since it is Daniel Auteuil. He does not act for erotic movies.The phase of the movie is very fast so you should fasten your seat belt.At the end he get rid of everythin and succeds to write his first novel. We see him publish his first novel and brings it to the man who first help him to initiate for the escort business.Everything seems great. But right before the movie ends it indicated that the publisher's wife is having sex with Daniel. What's that? He used his escort man ability to publish the first novel.There is an old word saying once a whole, always a whole.This movie is about that.It is quite interesting how Daniel acts as a shy escort man. He can do most any roll.He is sure a great French actor after all.

Some reviewers points out that this is not a porno film, and they are absolutely right even if nudity is present.I`m a fan of Daniel Auteuil, and he gives a realistic portrait of a impotent book writer out on a painful journey to find back to a life he can appreciate. He has temporary left his wife and familylife without telling why or where.He`s out of work and money, and after being beaten up on the street, he is taken care of by another man, that offershim a job as escort for ladies of all kinds. He`s thrown into many different situations, but specially his debut isone that really makes you feel the tension. After a while he change personality, get self confident, and able toreally make reflections on what he`s gotten in to. He learn a lot from different clients personality, and theirreasons for hiring a male escort. He`s on his way to have something to write about.No point in reveal much more than this, and ruin the film for new buyers.

I have always enjoyed Daniel's films. When I saw this I thought it would be good to see one of his older films. It was impressive to see how weĺl he handled English dialogue. The standard of acting was okay it wasn't clear exactly what the film's concluding message was. Don't run away to another country and become a prostitie ìf you experience a mid-life crisis? Ditching your family and emigrating may damage relationships? Not bad viewing but a little inaffective overall!

A film which starts well but then seems to lose its way. Hard to pay attention as the plot dissassembles whilst watching. Shame as some of its production values capture the seediness of London

Daniel Auteuil in a brilliant role as an escort based in London .I cannot see enough of this actor always portrays a different character brings it to life.

Quite pointless really, clearly what they put on the cover is to entice wider audience from shall we say, "adult" category, so they will be disappointed as equally those expecting insightful drama what with Auteuil as a main cast. Interesting from the observation point of view but not a cinematic success
