Thankful for the Tall sizes, quality made - had a temporary weird reaction to the sun
I was so glad to find this FR shirt in tall sizes for our family member that is 6’4” and 190 lbs. The XL Tall fits him well in the arm and shirttail lengths. It’s definitely not a slim fit and he has room through the torso. It is very well made and looks nice enough to wear just about anywhere. He has enjoyed a pair of Carhartt FR pants for years and was eager to have a FR shirt. The price of this one is a great value in comparison. The material is not quite as limber as his pants but I’m hoping with time it will be. One weird note – I washed this shirt and hung it on the line to dry, and was surprised that it dried with sun streaks that were pinkish. I brought it inside thinking it would return to its color when the temp changed, but it didn’t so I immediately washed it again and hung it inside to dry. Didn’t have any signs of the streaks. I read where the FR chemicals can react to sunlight but didn’t know that and had never had that happen with the pants. The care tag only mentions washing in water not hotter than 165F but nothing about drying it. I’m just wondering if the chemical treatment is different than the Carhartt brand or would love for someone to enlighten me on the material’s reaction to the sun.

Gearing Up for Solar Trailer Mods!
We're in the process of modifying our solar trailer, and it involves a fair amount of welding. While I'd usually wear my heavy leather jacket for this type of work, I opted for this new welding shirt this time around. So far, it's been a great choice! It's comfortable and seems to be providing adequate protection. I'll definitely report back if I encounter any issues with it during the project.

Thick, durable, and fire resistant
This is a great welding shirt. The material is thick and fire resistant. It came with a sample of the material attached to the tag and I tried to light it on fire to no avail. The shirt has snap buttons down the middle and on the sleeves. The snaps hold firmly into place and you can button the shirt snugly around your neck and wrists so you don't get any surprise pieces of metal flying in when you're welding. I'm really happy with this shirt and I'm sure it'll last me a long while. Definitely recommend.

A nice, well-made shirt!
This is a handsome shirt in heavy duty fire resistant fabric. The seams are made well and with precision. It is very convenient to quickly throw it on when welding because of the snaps, so I keep it on a hook by my welding gear in the shop. I generally wear a large, and this is true to size with long enough sleeves for my longer-than-normal arms. I am very happy with this shirt!

Perfect for working in warm and hot weather
Ordered it primarily for welding. I do most of it either inside a garage/workshop or outside. Hence, it gets quite hot and sweaty in warmer weather if I wear my welding jacket. This shirt should be a way better fit for this. It fits me good (I’m 210 lbs, 6’2” and got 2XL) and is very comfortable. I like the snap buttons a lot, they work great. I also like the pockets and the overall design of the shirt. It looks good and I can even wear it as a dress shirt. Inspecting it closely, I didn’t find any issues. I’m very happy with this shirt.

Too Small
I followed Amazon's sizing recommendation, but I should have known better. This shirt is too tight! The material and button snaps are amazing, but I didn't follow my instincts to pick a larger size and now I'm disappointed. I can't wear it.

Solid work shirt! See Review!
This ended up being a very solid work shirt and one that anyone will appreciate if you're in the field every day. Whether a welder, construction, work with metal, firearms, work with lathes and machinery, really anything. The shirt it's going to protect your skin in all situations, while being very comfortable on your body. The sizing is pretty much close, I had to size up. I got an EL in being that a majority of it is cotton by the time I wash it and dry it it'll shrink down and fit perfectly at least for my build and my frame which typically weight wise I am around 190 and 5'9 with a fairly broad build. The shirt itself is definitely a workman's shirt as in it's a thicker rugged shirt and it definitely feels of quality kind of almost a dickie type of quality, and it'll break in rather fast after a few washes or working in it for maybe the first week you'll be good to go. The stitching is great somebody took time in making the shirt strong and giving it quality stitching, it's not going to rip for tear on you easily as well as I appreciate that it's all buttons. The buttons have a beautiful look and are actually stitched very well and have a nice Pearl finish look to them. The three strong buttons on the cuff are great and honestly all the way through the shirt (they're all the same buttons) and they all function spectacular. I personally think the biggest challenge for most people is going to be the sizing and you need to pay attention to your build, your weight, and when you use their sizing chart, you're probably going to want to size up because I think it's over 80% cotton so it's going to shrink down on you and again why I got an XL. Other than that, this is a solid workman shirt very comfortable and protective and one I would highly recommend if you're in the field. I give it 4 stars . Well made!
