The Best Security Cameras for Home
This outdoor, POE security camera is a high-end camera. In addition to the very well-built camera housing, this camera can be used up to about three hundred feet from your router via a single Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable. The color is “true” along with unprecedented audio quality in both directions. All the necessary brackets and hardware for mounting was included. All you need is a screwdriver to complete the install. The instruction/install manual was well written. If your router does not have POE, you can purchase a POE injector on Amazon. Some of the features of this camera include pan, tilt & zoom, easy install, 4K, 256 presets, patrol capability, rugged construction, auto tracking of humans, which are only a few advantages of this awesome camera. As my grandfather would say, “son, you get what you pay for. “

worth the money
**5 Stars - Absolutely Worth Every Penny!**I have several SV3C cameras, but I hesitated to purchase the SV3C 36X Zoom due to its price. Now that I finally decided to invest in it, I can confidently say I wish I had bought this camera sooner! This model is truly exceptional and stands out as the only camera you need for comprehensive surveillance. The camera's build quality is impressive, featuring a robust metal construction that instills confidence in its durability. The size is perfect too—it's almost 9 inches tall with the frame or 6.5 inches without, making it a substantial yet manageable addition to my security setup. What really sets this camera apart is the 36X zoom capability. The zoom is incredibly powerful, allowing me to capture clear, detailed images from a significant distance. The picture quality remains sharp even at maximum zoom, which is a testament to the high-quality optics SV3C has used in this model.Installation was straightforward, and the camera integrates seamlessly with my existing SV3C system. The night vision is excellent, and the motion detection is highly sensitive and accurate, ensuring I never miss any important activity.Overall, the SV3C 36X Zoom has exceeded all my expectations. It's a top-notch security camera that delivers in every aspect—from build quality to performance. If you're on the fence because of the price, trust me, it's worth every penny. This will likely be the only camera you'll need for your security needs!

Impressive! 36x OPTICAL Zoom @ 4k Resolution
The media could not be loaded. Firstly, I am a camera head. Some folks collect sneakers, I happen to enjoy cameras...to a fault. The intended location for this camera for me is outside, however due to current weather, I am unable to install it where it will ultimately go. For now, my review is limited to indoors in a portion of my basement. An oversight in marketing SV3C has made with this camera is not clarifying that this IS indeed OPTICAL zoom. At the time of my purchase that word was nowhere to be seen on the product page. The camera features human tracking, pet and auto recognition and 360 degree panning. Those features come native to the camera, however I generally have Blue Iris control most of that stuff. Speaking of Blue Iris, yes this camera also supports ONVIF protocol which is how I got Blue Iris to populate the camera's features.I was mostly interested in the zoom, resolution and night vision. Those are what I tested in a portion of my basement. I included a video to show what resolution (crispness) was like when the room lights were on and then when they were off. The attached video shows you the camera's ability in both of those environments. It is important to note, that in the night vision portion of the video there is NO light on or entering that room, it is only the camera's IR emissions. Impressive I know. You will also notice in the video that I only pressed the OPTICAL zoom to 15x, which is less than half of its 36x zoom capability. I was in a small room so it would be pointless. The auto-focus functioned well for a camera in this price point. I don't foresee the slight lag in focusing causing any real issues. The camera does offer a Main Stream and a Substream. I was not able to populate Blue Iris with the Substream address. as it was not handed off by ONVIF apparently. That'll just take some poking around, which at present, I do not have the time to do. II will update when I figure it out.The box came with the usual accompanying mounting screws, template, ethernet cable (in an interestingly numbered bag.. see pic) and instructions. Please note I included a photo of the PTZ preprogrammed commands to call certain functions. Also for some reason, the camera does not ship with auto-tracking enabled, however there is a card that is included that tells you how to enable it. The card seems like they included it as an afterthought, but either way, I included a pic of that as well. This beast gobbles up 22 watts of power, so if you intend to power it using POE make sure that is considered. I intend to use a 30 watt POE injector. However, an AC power adapter is included if you're not going the POE route. To sum up for now, I do not see how this camera could disappoint, provided it has a decent lifespan.
