Works a treat; my 4-year-old dog loves it, keeps him happy and his brain active and tested
• Keeps my dog entertained for a while, whether treats or just normal dog food – the activity itself is seemingly enjoyable, not just the reward. He’ll occasionally go back to it after a while just to have fun kicking it around also, without nosing after food• Pushes him well; although he knew fairly quickly how to use it, the variable setting allows for him to be kept fairly on his toes each time, and he’ll not come prodding for attention or anything (the best objective indicator I have) for a long time afterwards• The ability to both hear and see inside, and so tell when it’s empty, is incredibly useful; other treat balls have upset him, as he couldn’t tell this and would keep going for ages and get frustrated. Excellent in this regard• I’ve used milk bottle scrunched with treats inside but they don’t last near as long as this, even when he only manages to ‘solve’ them by shredding the entire thing• Not the largest capacity but a good mix between amount and size• Works presumably for a variety of intelligences; my dog, being fairly thick, needs and gets the most out of a much wider setting, but I imagine more intelligent/persistent breeds would find it as difficult on harder/narrower settings• Well built, not brittle (as I had expected of the clear plastic specifically) but rather sturdy, with the lid being secure once fastened and no risk of breakage with normal use (as in not being thrown about on a stone floor or something)Overall a high-quality product (especially for the price) which works wonderfully and is a good addition to my dog’s treat/toy box. Very pleased with this purchase

Good treat ball
This is a good treat ball. Quite sturdily made, easy to fill. Not to be used unsupervised especially with a dog who likes to chew and is an aggressive chewer my bulldog would probably destroy this in minutes if left alone with it, so we will see how long it lasts - day 1 today. My dog emptied 50g of kibble in less than 10 minutes. The only issue I have with this is the slider which opens the hole for treats to fall out - it moves to easily as your dog pushes the ball around- this caused 2 problems . The first the hole opened too much and the food just fell out. The second the slider closed the hole not allowing any food to fall out which caused my dog to become frustrated and angrily chew the ball

Fun little treat ball
Why did you choose this product over others?:Such a great little treat ball - my dog loves batting it around the house and it wears her out too!

Weighted allowing the dog to roll with his face or nose of paw and a fun noise too. Easily filled.
Oscar loves this toy as it is weighted and bobs about all over the place when he pushes or pats It. Easily altered for size of treat but please see my write up I have done for the red plastic treat ball, which explains how to get round the problem ALL these Roll and Reward toys have, namely the position we put the toys adjuster in to alter the speed of the flow of treats is far too easily altered by the dog by patting or carrying and dropping.I explain how to get round this fault with a simple piece of sellotape.! Problem solved when you put it over the opening. This is a great toy and Oscar loves it. As it is weighted one end it rolls erratically and means the is more chance of the treats having access out of the ball. Well made and certainly my dog could not chew it!

Was partially refunded for item
It's a good toy to keep your dog occupied for a few moments, but they can push the lever easily to release all of the treats at once, so often doesn't last long before the whole thing is empty. I was contacted by seller after review and partially refunded with an Amazon voucher to use.

A re-usable product our dog loves
I think this is a great product, and suitable for any dog. Our dog enjoys playing with it - it keeps him stimulated for a few minutes, wagging his upright tail side to side. The product itself arrives fully assembled - you just need to unscrew the top, add in your treats and slide the grey slider to your preferred level of difficulty. i usually have it covering half the hole so our dog has to earn his treats (using his intelligence!). It is probably possible to set the slider so the whole hole is covered, and the dog has to slide that then roll the ball to get the treats - I haven't tested this yet.I would encourage you to supervise your dog whilst playing with this treat as ours, especially at first, had a habit of grasping it between his paws and trying to gnaw his way through. He has pretty much learnt that this is pointless as it is a well made toy - it has survived a fall down the stairs, along with being whacked against hard objects so many times. FYI it doesn't leave a mark on anything it hits.I bought this product a good few weeks ago, and have used it nearly every day to keep our dog entertained (if at least for a few minutes) whilst we're working at home. In this time I've cleaned it once or twice, I don't bother to clean the inside so our dog's nose has more to entice him. It is very easy to take apart and put together though. You can take our dog's erect waggy tail as a paws up for this product, and I would recommend it too !

Poor quality
I was really disappointed with this product. Within just 2 hours of giving it to my puppy, he had already managed to open it up and take the parts apart. It’s advertised as an interactive and durable toy, but the quality is very poor and it doesn’t stand up to even light play. Definitely not suitable for puppies or any dog that’s even slightly playful. A waste of money in my opinion.

Quite easy but my dog loves it
Good sturdy treat dispenser. Because it rocks/wobbles more than rolls the hole for the treats to fall out is always towards the floor making it quite easy for the dog. Could be a pro or a con depending on your dog!I bought the smaller version, which holds a lot, but will eventually buy the larger one as we tend to now use this as a slow feeder with normal kibble and need to top it up again (but I have a greyhound, will be fine for smaller breeds). The opening is adjustable for different size treats and easily filled from the top. The top is easy for a dog to get off if left unattended, mine finished the food then I found the lid in the garden half chewed, but it still goes fine. Aggressive chewers will need to be supervised.
