Child friendly but detailed
My son loves trains and got given this book as a present for his 3rd birthday - we have read it every night since - it is his absolute favourite. Despite the cover looking quite adult this is actually a great child friendly train book for those who are really interested in trains and want to learn more about them. I will definitely be buying more in the series.

A boy train lover's delight.
Bought for our 4 year old nephew, who's mad on trains. He loved the super illustrations. Recommended.

Lovely photos of real trains
Lovely photos of a variety of trains. My grandson is only 22 months but he keeps bringing this book to me to read to him.

Trains - childrens book
An excellent book. Clear and well illustrated. The 4 year old I bought it for takes it everywhere. So impressed with this book just bought another copy for a 3 year old. Would be equally good for on older child who can read it him/herself.

Fab book
My son has loved this book since he was about 4 and I have bought in as gifts for many other train mad boys. Great for encouraging independent reading

Binding should have been better
Book is good. My train lover son loves ot very much. Wonderful photos. But binding is not so good. Pages are coming out.
