Easy setup, works great, easy to use, a very informative tool. Works fast, diagnosis entire vehicle, connected quickly , worth the price to get the answer to the codes and also projects the cost of parts to repair the vehicle.

One of the best items I've gotten for car troubleshooting. This one is everything I expected plus a little more with the simplicity of the way the app sorts the faults. So far it has worked really well and has been very accurate with reading codes on all three of my vehicles. Surprised at how quickly it returns the results for a portable unit. You can save your vehicles and not have to enter VIN every time thereafter. Wasn't hard connecting to my phone once the app was downloaded. Every time I have had a warning light it has accurately given the same code result as the mechanic shop nearby I use. The fact that it lets you click on the needed parts and does an instant search at most common after market stores locally makes it that much faster to find what you need for the repair. Makes it easy to have a reference on what the potential parts could cost. Also, to know what parts are actually needed before going to a shop. The other cool feature I like is it gives the severity of fault and ratings on urgency of repair. Planning to buy another to place in my sister's car so I can teach her how to check codes and tell me what is needed before going to help fix things on her car....Perfect gift for your wife, girlfriend, or college student to make car maintenance easier and more efficient. Great gift for a guy too! Definitely worth what I paid for it.

The Innova 1000 OBD2 Scanner works really well, and shows codes that a normal code reader won't; things like glitches in the comms between the car's computer modules. It will allow you to view and record live data from the vehicle; a BIG help when relating issues to a mechanic. You can "catch the car in the act" and show the mechanic the recorded live data for more effective troubleshooting. This scanner is a MUST if you're in the market for a used car. When you plug the scanner into the OBD2 port, it determines the make, model, and year of the car and pulls down the pertinent parameters for it on the associated app. You always have the latest info for the vehicle and the scanner! The app is on the clunky side. It's a bit slow, and sometimes needs to be restarted after doing a test. That's the only reason for four stars instead of five. Also note that you MUST have a smartphone for this thing to work, and the phone MUST have a cell or WiFi connection for the app to work. All this being said, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. It actually saved me from making a BIG mistake while I was recently shopping for a used car!

The product works great. I own two of the units. I keep the plugged into my vehicles all the time. They can give me real-time information. I am extremely satisfied with both devices and much less expensive than the handheld devices.

I bought this because their website claimed it would read transmission temp on the car I entered into their search. Sadly, it does not. Also, the custom scan function doesn't work either-it does a full scan no matter what I select. I have contacted the vendor and have sent the data captures to them so fingers crossed. It is however, easier to use than the older dedicated scanner I bought from Sears 8 years ago, so there is that. I rarely use my older scanner and when I do, I have to fumble around for several minutes trying to figure out how to do things on it. This innova 1000 is very easy to understand using the cellphone app and runs very well despite the mentioned flaws.

The utility you get for the price you pay is unmatched, imho. Many scanners at this price point do not give you engine, abs, airbag, and other codes. In addition to that, you can monitor many data points like battery voltage, transmission temp, etc in real time. This product saved me SOO much time when my battery died. I was able to determine that it was, in fact, my battery and nothing else like alternator or a sensor. I cannot recommend this enough!The only drawback is you have to have location and Bluetooth on for this to work on your phone. If you have trouble with those, I would not recommend.

I’m impressed of everything it can do. It even has real time reading charts of different components working at the same time to indicate how the vehicle is performing. It has engine scan or full vehicle scan. What I like the most is that it tells you what needs to get fixed and it gives you a link that takes you to the car part you need to buy. For what it does you can’t beat the price. 🙌 recommend it 1,000%
