Color X-ChangeSemi-Permanent Hair Color - Renegade Red - Vegan, PPD & Ammonia-Free

I have been buying this brand for a few years now. I'm not a huge fan of the new tube design, but I can just transfer it to a different bottle before dyeing. This hair colors greys, too! It stays in your hair the longer you leave it in, so what I do is apply it, add a bag, then go about my business around the house for 4-6 hours. It lasts for 4-6 weeks depending on if you diligently wash in cool water with color-care shampoo and conditioner. It smells amazing, doesn't strip or hurt my hair, and the price is great! Unlike other dyes, it also doesn't stain skin too badly. You can just glop it on your head and not worry about going to work the next day.

This stuff is really good for the price I like that. This is the lowest price semi permanent hair dye which I wanted because I buy a lot cause I use it a lot. It says leave in for up to 30 minutes but I usually leave it on for about 2 hours if not longer. Longer you leave it in the more vibrant it is for longer plus stays in your hair longer. I've read about people leaving semi permanent hair dye in overnight while they sleep but that's just not necessary with this. Low price and excellent product with excellent results. Just be sure to bleach your hair first unless you have level 9/10 hair naturally as it stays in much longer on level 9/10 hair. Always rinse it out with cold water and avoid washing your hair for a couple days so it doesn't bleed out. I highly recommend this product!!

This won't show as a verified purchase because I bought it last year under the old listing, but I want to add a review here since it only has one negative one. Check the old listing for lots more, including pictures of all the colors!I used this after a metallic purple from a different brand which was too subtle for my liking. My hair wasn't bleached, so it wasn't as bright as it could be, but I loved the combined effect. It did fade quickly - it's to be expected from a semi permanent, but I was hoping for a bit longer, especially since the metallic one was a permanent. If this held better I would give it 5*. Just be prepared to redo it often if you want to maintain the color, but it looks great!

I’ve used multiple hot pink hair dyes over the past two years, and this one is by FAR my favorite! This stuff is so vibrant and it lasts so much longer than other brands that i’ve tried, and it’s a fraction of the price! I seriously can’t say enough good things about this product!
