Great Cherry Flavor and None of That “Zero” Taste
Dr Pepper Cherry ZERO is one of my absolute favorites; the cherry flavor is bold, clean, and tastes like real cherry — not fake, not syrupy, and not that artificial “cough syrup” cherry some sodas have! It blends perfectly with the classic Dr Pepper background flavor, so you get that familiar taste with a bright cherry boost. One thing I really appreciate is that Dr Pepper Zero products don't have that strange “zero” aftertaste a lot of other diet or zero‑sugar sodas have. This one is smooth, refreshing, and easy to drink. The only downside is that it can be hard to find in stores, so I grab it whenever I see it on sale. Definitely worth stocking up on when you can!

The Ultimate Guilt-Free Treat: Bold Cherry Flavor Without the Sugar!
If you’re a fan of the classic "Pepper" kick but want something with a bit more depth, the Dr Pepper Cherry Zero Sugar is about to become your new favorite fridge staple. It’s one of those rare sodas where you genuinely forget you’re drinking a zero-sugar version because the flavor is so rich and satisfying.

Incredibly delicious
Where has this been all my life oh my gawddddd. Delicious! BUT, when I started drinking it, I began gaining weight. It was the only change in my diet. So drink, enjoy, but not every day.

Dr Pepper Zero Cherry - New formula just not as good as a couple years ago
As the title says, they changed the recipe as of late. I bought this since it first came out several years ago, but my local Coke bottler, Liberty, scaled back on producing it, and then it was simply gone in my neck of the woods. I was crushed (no pun intended), and settled back for the standard Dr Pepper Zero for a year or so. Then it comes back recently to Amazon, and I ask every local store to stock it, and they can't. Not available here. I order from Amazon, and it's coming from another state. Fine, I thought, but when I tasted it, something was different. It wasn't as flavorful. The cherry was more subdued, and even the classic DP flavor seemed weaker, but most obvious was the fact it was no longer red. Yep, for those who just started drinking this, the earlier formulation was a bright red. The kind of red that I would have to immediately remove a shirt and wash upon splashing any on. It would stain. Of course, it was in a can so you didn't notice it without that. The new Zero Cherry formula looks visually like standard Dr Pepper, a darker brown, and I do wonder if the red staining, or current politics regarding food dyes are the cause of the change there, but the fact the flavor changed too is what disappoints me. Why? Why do that? It was perfect before... Well, despite seeing folks on Facebook saying the same, confirming I'm not imagining it, I haven't given up on it completely. I'd sooner buy it compared to several other sodas, but it's now taking a back seat to standard DP Zero, and certainly not worth bending over backwards to get as the earlier version of Dr Pepper Zero Cherry was. It's just a shame to see them make a mistake with this now when it was so good before. I hope they can bring back the original flavor.

Gear soda
This is actually one of my favorite zero sugar sodas. I do a lot of soda testing some drink for desserts instead of going for the sugars and this is one of them. It’s not too strong and it’s not weak. Detective Pepper flavor is there along with the cherry. I love it.
