Get great tasting water on the go from the fountains, sinks, and taps you walk by daily. The premium, easy to use Hydros Bottle is a great alternative to bottled water. Save our landfills and your wallet at the same time! Review: Filter worked well, when I wasn't cleaning up the mess it left - I bought this to carry around with me at my college in my backpack. I used the it for approximately a week and never had very good luck with it, it leaked all in my backpack luckily not getting anything vital wet, I tested it and it was a solid 2 drips per second leak when sideways and it happened now matter how loose or tight I got the lid. I was very disappointed because the construction in my opinion seemed far superior to any other filtered bottle I found and the water taste improvement was good but I can't carry around leaky water bottle. Pros: Construction Appearance Filtration Cons: LEAKS Review: As Advertised... Sort Of. - The Hydros Filtering Water Bottle is a great idea and for a great cause and offers some great features, too. This bottle is not to be used for filtering out microbes, etc—it’s really just to make potable but nasty water taste better. Here are what I see as drawbacks to this bottle: - This bottle has a relatively steep learning curve. - This bottle has many parts. - This bottle may leak if you are not diligent with the placement of all of the parts of this bottle. - Hanger loop thing for bottle inhibited proper sealing of the bottle, too. - Replacement filters can be spendy. Great things about this bottle: - Filters water very quickly—at any flow rate. - Relatively compact. - Water tastes great after filtering! Would I repurchase this bottle? I’m up in the air about it. I certainly wouldn’t expect a child to be able to use this bottle without a lot of assistance and would hesitate to send it anywhere inside of a backpack, where it may leak if not properly closed. But I find it less irritating than the Bobble to actually drink from and use for filtering water.

Totally useless. zero stars.
This is the most disappointing thing I've ever purchased. I use a water bottle all day every day so i wanted one good one that I could use all the time but this is a huge pain the top is so difficult to open and close sometimes i can't even do it. And more importantly IT LEAKS. All the time. When you are drinking it almost as much as water will end up in a puddle in front of you or on your lap.

DO NOT BUY!!
The filter didn't work! the water tasted worse then before i put it in the bottle. The bottle is very hard to use! You can't find the filters anymore to get replacements

I wish I could rate this higher
After reading all of the leaky bottle stories, I was afraid to buy this. But there were a few good reviews and I couldn't continue drinking the extra-harsh water in my office, so I went for it. The funny thing is that at first, I had no leaks or anything; I felt like my careful reading of the instructions must have helped. But one day as I was attempting to twist the top-most lid in order to drink, I must have messed up my perfect setup because yeah, it's totally leaky. So yes I like my tasty, filtered water, but I think there could be some design improvements on the bottle. The leaky part is one. In addition, the top-most twisting top is really hard to actually move if your hand is wet; when this happens, I often end up inadvertently twisting the larger, orange part.
