Love this .. better than I imagined

The media could not be loaded. This works so well! I originally purchased it for my husband to look at old coins. It worked really well for that…Then, I borrowed it for my science class, and… WOW! It is so much easier than a traditional microscope for the teens to use. It works well in bright or low light. Easy to bring in to focus. It’s super easy and convenient to take to class, and to store back in its original packaging. I’ve been using it for almost a year now, in my classes. I will be purchasing a second one so that I don’t have to keep returning this one to my husband!I included a clip of the class using it to look at a piece of native copper that they formed in the lab. It really does a great job clearly magnifying whatever it is we are investigating!

My kids and I have had nothing but fun with this product since the day we opened it. This is the first thing they pull out to share anytime anyone new comes over to visit.I chose the M2 model with 1600x magnification and 4.3 inch screen. That’s about as technical as I will get because this product is just as advertised. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. BEAVERLAB offers versions with and without screens at varying magnifications and prices so there are options for everyone.I debated on getting the lower cost version without the screen thinking the kids could use their phones or tablets with the app but worried about the portability and decided on upgrading to the screen model and am more than happy with this decision.The screen size is not too big and not too small which makes it perfect for using it while sitting around the table or taking it on the go. Aesthetically it stood out from the rest. Its clean simplistic design appealed to me, every function is a simple click of a button making the ease of use perfect for all ages.With that being said I looked at a lot of different microscopes and read a lot of reviews before I made this choice. Although there were limited reviews all were positive with high ratings.If you are reading this that means you are trying to find a reason not to buy this product. I say go with your gut and click “buy now”.

Was really good Until it wasn't. Was you working good until I don't know what happened, but only a small spot on the screen is clear now and everything is blurry, so it's super frustrating to use it, because you only get small, clear spots and then have to refocus. I've tried sticking a cue tip/soft cloth etc up hole to clean lens but it never helps. Apparently no warranty so figure u get a 6month microscope for the price.

I just got this portable digital microscope and was totally impressed with its performance. I was able to use it immediately without needing to read the user manual as it is very intuitively designed. Build quality appears to be good considering the price and capabilities. I love the minimalistic industrial design.What makes this product impressive is the fact you could use it as a portable standalone self contained microscope or as a stationary desktop unit with the optional stand. It's ready out of the box with integrated battery, LCD display, mass storage unit and even Wi-Fi capable. I really like the fact you could use a phone or PC for wireless external viewing. It's a really nice feature to see things on a bigger display. The image quality is really good considering the price. Focus is really smooth and fine grained. A 32GB memory card is even included to save images and/or videos.I highly recommend this if you want a small portable digital microscope that has the performance to actually give more expensive traditional models real competition. It's extremely useful for even serious inspection work.

This mini digital microscope was a gift to our 11 year old aspiring biologist. She opened it with delight and immediately began experimenting with it on surfaces, snowflakes, and any cell she could sample. She took it to school to put it to the test against our science lab microscopes with pond water, and the large display made it much easier for all to see the tardigrades and nematodes. It's now on our school's wish list for next year's budget.She also got to use it on her friend's cat to determine the cause of an ear infection with aural hematoma. Using the microscope, she found yeast, dried blood, and ear mites in a sample obtained from the ear. The friend's family sent the pictures to the vet and received an antibiotic and a scheduled surgery to fix the problem, saving a separate diagnostic visit.Overall I would highly recommend this for school instruction or just as a tool for curious young minds.

Love this I’ve had 2 others the 2nd had a screen but much smaller. Only had 1yr and it already won’t take a charge. It’s easy to use and works beautifully, helped me in determining when my plants were done. I’m very happy and I got it for a great price. I would absolutely recommend for anyone. Kids would love these too looking at bugs and the microscopic world. Thank you 😊

Used the scope recently for a forest fair to celebrate national "Get Outdoors Day". So many kids came by our booth for a university extension naturalist program. Kids and adults were enthralled!The unit takes just a little getting used to because there are a lot of buttons on it, but young kids were quickly working with it and so many exclamations of "OMG", "Wow",...."So cool!"Heartily recommend this product. So many parents writing down the name of the product, and delighted that the price point is so much lower than expected for a product that just seems so solid and sturdy. They thought it was expensive equipment from a university lab.
