Testors Prepainted Plastic Aircraft Model Kit, Silver

You cant lose on this one for the price. Ofcourse it's not a museum quality piece but your not paying for one either. It's well worth the price. My 9 year old grandson was thrilled with it. It was easy to assemble and it looks great and its kid friendly and I am a professional model builder and have build several of these in both versions in the larger scale in the aluminum and olive drab and I have to say this one did impress me for the price. With a little modification airbrushing and a few details added this thing would really come to life but that would take all the fun out of it. This ones for the kids. :)It could be a little more refined like adding the 50 caliber machine guns on the tail would help but overall I give it a thumbs up for the price 👍it looks very much like the Aluminum Overcast which is based at Osh Kosh Wisconsin which is on tour during the summer. The box shows it as coming with painted yellow propeller tips. They are not. I painted. Them also painted the black wing boot deicers and olive drab sun deflectors on the cowls and nose and the guns and the wheel wells along with some mild chalk weathering

My son was able to put this together and had no problems. He is already asking when he can get another one to add to this collection.

Good simple model. Not allot of detail, but not much was expected. The pictures seem to show all the markings on the real Aluminum Overcast, but it did not have some the numbers or the nose art. These seems to be a production change as even the ones for sale at the real plane when it visited my area were the same. ( I went for a flight in the real A/O, and yes it was awesome, sorry for the digression) . Very simple to assemble and can be improved with a little paint for weathering.

Como juguete no esta mal. Aunque es un poco delicado y de mal ensamblaje, Falto de detalles y pintura deficiente para un colecionista... Tuve que agregarle detalles propios para que se viera mas interesante

I didn't get the Testors one, they sent the EZ-build brand. Very nice looking. Both brands look the same.

Was a birthday gift and he loves it

My 11 year old loves these. Super simple. Feels like he built a model without the tiny pieces, glue, and paint. We've bought a few.

Piece of crap ! Easy to put together , but not at all accurate . Poorly done landing gear , missing guns , turrets that look like something like a clown would use at a circus !Never again will I buy from Testors !!!!This is something for a three year old !
