The product works perfectly as an extended monitor which is why I give it 5 stars. I have a 15in HP Laptop monitor.Pros: 1. The screen quality is better than expected, I was impressed with the clarity and resolution. 2. Overall functionality exceeds expectations as it does provide the "multi-monitor" experience and is very convenient to connect and use. 3. Great for travel - I used this while working during my vacation with family. 4. I am able to use this device daily and not just while traveling, as it provides 3 screens for me to multi-task and be more productive and efficient. 5. Although quite pricey, well worth the value, functionality and time savings.Cons: 1. The clips to attach to the device is quite challenging and needs some rework, but not a deal breaker. 2. This is a quite pricey solution compared to the cost of a basic computer monitor.

Exactly as described. Works really well, and easy to setup. The little prop stand to help hold the additional weight isn’t really necessary unless your laptop has loose hinges, and the prop stand could be designed a little better, but it works. I just wish to at the screen resolution would support something higher than HD, but it works for what I need. I liked that it came with all the necessary cables for different connections (usb-c & hdmi), and that it came with a protective carry bag with a pouch for the cables.

Things to love. 1) nice size 2) light weight 3)Clips to your screen so you don't need table space next to your laptop to support it. 4) Great display color and speed and brightness 5) has a support so that the weight does not affect the tilt of the laptop screen - the screen will stay where you put it. 6) Uses HDMI to USBC cable and separate USBC power. 7) all cables required are supplied. 8) Very easy on an off and fits most laptops. NOW FOR THE NEUTRAL The USB C cable required for power has no USB jack on my laptop to plug it into - HOWEVER the easy answer is to carry a 10K phone charger battery and it will be no problem at all, will go for hours. NOW THE NEGATIVES 1) you need a little room behind the laptop to put up the support rod 2) The support rod folds nicely for storage, but is loose when in use and can flop - NOTE TO VENDOR: make the support rod SNAP into place so it won;'t lose it's position from the tap tap tap of typing! - OVERALL: no regrets, would buy another one.

Easy to install, and I can't live without this extra monitor now! I almost want to buy one with two monitors. It is lightweight, pretty easy to use. I wish I bought one with a screen size similar to my laptop. The monitor quality is good, slightly darker and more of a hint of blue color than my laptop. The few critiques I have would be to have a stronger/sturdier "kickstand" that supports the weight of the monitor for the laptop better, and make it easier to hold onto to open/expand for correct placement. There is no secure place to hold the unit to expand the back for attachment, so it slips or it takes me 2-3x to get it on correctly.

I really loved the ease of connection and the size and clarity of the screen, however the major design flaw is the piece of plastic that presses into the screen when in its portable folded position. I used the carrying case provided and only had the portable monitor for about a week or two when I opened it and connected it to the screen being completely unusable from a pressure point in the bottom right of the screen that lines up with where it folds onto itself. I would not recommend if you plan to carry this with you a lot, as any sort of pressure will cause this issue. If you want a small monitor to use at home, it should work just fine for you. Unfortunately, that sort of defeats the “portable” aspect. Disappointed because it was expensive and I did really like the product.

Works awesome with my 15” laptop!

This is a game changer! Simple to install and it exceeded my expectations for screen resolution. If it doesn’t work when u plug it in, tey one of the other 2 ports on the back of the attachable screen. . I expected the one only display extender would cause a slight balance issue after u attach it but it’s easy to adjust. It clamped on to my laptop easily and it feels like it has a sturdy quality. I’ll revise my review if I come across any issues but out of the box, it’s a five star!
