Easy to use and efficient
Loved how easy it is to set up two solar panels in parallel for fast charging of my battery backup.

Connections very tight, but easily fixed
This solar panel extension cable arrived to me securely in good condition, and was free of any defects or damages. At first all of the connectors were very hard to clip together, but I was able to rectify this easily enough by working in a small amount of silicone grease. This well-made MC4 solar cable combines an extension cable with a Y parallel cable
These well-made MC4 solar cables combine an extension cable with a Y parallel cable. The benefit of the combinations is that there is one less connection, which minimizes potential failure points and reduces electrical resistance a bit, however if you don't connect both ends then you're going to want to cap the unused end to prevent dust and water from getting into the unused MC4 connectors. I could also joke that this is the longest solar parallel Y-cable that I've ever gotten since Y-cables are normally very short.The cables look very well made. They're about as flexible as solar cables typically are, which means they're reasonably flexible but not as much as the practically limp hobby-type cables that have fine stranded wires and silicone insulation. The long part of the cable is labeled 6mm² which is a bit better/thicker than 10AWG (10AWG=2.5882mm-d=5.2612mm²) and the short part after the Y split looks like is is probably 4mm² or 12AWG but it isn't marked. The white printing on the long black and red cables reads: TUV SUD EN50618:2014 H1Z2Z2-K 1x6mm² AC1.0/1.0kV DC1500V -40°C ~ +90°C Solar PV Cable CЄ (it took me a bit to find that CЄ symbol to include rather than just typing "CE").The MC4 connectors don't seem to be quite as good of quality as the cords. The o-rings seem to be a bit too large and the MC4 connectors are difficult to get to lock, even with the other MC4 connectors on this cable! I hope they update the MC4 connectors they are using.These are fine for a pair of 100W solar panels in a portable solar setup and I could make make that two strings of panels in parallel but I personally wouldn't put more than 30A through this cable since it is fairly long, even though the 6mm² wire should be able to take 30-40A and the listing mentions up to 50Amps.Hopefully they will update the stiff and difficult to lock MC4 connectors, but I'd personally check the recent reviews to see if people are still mentioning that issue before ordering any more of these.

Simplify your setup!
These are great cables to simplify a setup by combining a 12 AWG (4mm^2) Y-branch connector and a 10 AWG (6mm^2) extension cable.All the MC4 nuts were on nice and tight. I could not budge them by hand.

High Quality!
Not too much to say about solar cables in general. However this cable in particular deserves good reviews. The cable is well made, the "Y" branches are moulded, the assembly has an IP67 rating, the insulation is rated at 1000 VDC, and the MC connectors are of good quality.The price is a little higher than competitors cables. However the quality of this cable assembly far surpasses the competitors cables. I think the difference in price is well justified and rate these cables as a good value for the price.I regularly order, build, and test electrical equipment, including solar. This cable assembly is likely the highest quality manufactured cable I have come across to date. If you're looking for a good quality cable tat will last, you should consider this one.

Long Lasting Cable
This is a sturdy weather-resistant hookup extension wire set. It has dual MC4 connectors on one end for wiring in parallel or series that can be connected or disconnected easily if needed. I used my extension for parallel wiring my solar panels. These are solid, lengthy, hefty and plug perfectly into the panel I have. I also have them connected to my charge controller. This is a high-quality, 10 AWG tinned copper wire. It works like a charm for my off-grid solar system. They are top of the line and you can't go wrong

These were exactly what I was needing their exactly as described and they seem to be very good quality especially for the price I would definitely recommend these for your next project.
