I’ve researched and read many similar products before buying this one. Most of the negative reviews was that it wasn’t warm or warm enough. Well, all I can say is that this works for our purpose- which is to dry our big thick bath towels in a windowless bathroom. Don’t expect the towels to be as warm as they come out of the dryer where the constant high heat is trapped. This and similar products are exposed to the ambient temperature in your bathroom which I suspect is colder than the heated towel bars. So if you expect the towels to feel toasty, you will be disappointed. The minute you remove the towel from the bars and fling it around your body, it looses the warmth a lot. I do wish it came in a wider and higher stand-alone (not wall mount) option though. We have only had this for two months so can’t speak to durability.

It turns itself off immediately and does not heat up. M Called the company and they said its probably defective and deal with amazon. So now I have to box it up and return it. Also when I set it up one of screws was bad and I had to go to hardware store and get a new one. I say this is a crappy overly priced towel heater.

This towel warmer was nice while it lasted.... barely over two years. Planned obsolescence.

Had it less than 1 year and the switch stopped working, constantly shutting off at random. Not worth the expense of $300.00

I never used one of these towel warmers before. This one is ok. Doesn’t get crazy warm but definitely warms your towel if arranged properly for 20’or so minutes. It actually works better as a towel dryer than a warmer (i.e. after you dry off and the towel is moist and you want to speed up drying). Towels do not come off the rack super hot, and will cool down quickly once off the rack. One solution for a warmer drying towel is to have the rack close to your bath/shower so that you don’t pull the towel off the rack until you exit are just about to dry off. That said, the rack has a great modern, clean design, and is sturdy. You have two options to operate it: either a two-hour or four-hour setting. Of course, you can always turn it off sooner.

The timer doesn't work. It randomly turns off. This also happens even if I just have the power on without using the timer. If it stays on the towels are nicely warm. I'm trying to figure out how to exchange it (since I recycled the box already) - if the next one, works, I'll update this review.

Towel warmer came with side rail not aligned with heater bars.When 'foot' was attached they were not parallel. They are pigeon toed.Waste of money. Planning on sending back.
