These bulbs are lovely, a really nice soft light, the picture doesn't do the bulb or lighting justice for what a nice glow it gives.They work perfectly and well worth the money.Quick delivery and well packaged. Will definitely purchase again if these ever blow.

We bought these bulbs a while ago and two were broken but we only needed four out of the box of six so I let it go.Today my next batch arrived and one was damaged on arrival. You can see in the photo that one of the hairs inside is not attached.I'm also aware this product is very delicate and it was packaged well considering.The bulbs are great mood lighting for the evenings and don't keep me awake like standard bulbs.Overall fairly happy with it!

These light bulbs give off a lovely warm glow and some heat! I wanted incandescent bulbs as I prefer them to LEDs.

While decorating the landing, the wife decided we needed a really fancy light fitting over the stair case and settled on some unique light with 5 different dangly wires with shades of all different shapes and sizes. Anyway, I'm digressing slightly. She wanted the bulbs to be Edison style bulbs to match her Pinterest inspiration, so after some digging through Amazon listings I settled on these.Now, they look great and perfectly match the aesthetic she wanted. However, they weren't "that" bright, but it wasn't the end of the world.However, after putting the ladders away, I wondered why our energy monitor was showing such high usage -nearly double or usual idle load - then it dawned on me... like every other bulbs in my house, were these bulbs LED? No, they are not. They are incredibly ineffecient halogen bulbs and I'd just fitted 5 of them.I found the Amazon listing and they were listed at 40W each. The energy usage I was seeing was ~250W for 5 bulbs, so I suspect the listing is wrong there as they're actually 50W each.Needless to say, I went back up the ladder and replaced the bulbs with LED versions of the same thing and swiftly returned these to Amazon. We now have a much brighter light consuming a total of 21W for 5 bulbs using the LED version.It feels harsh as I'm writing this review to criticise these bulbs for not being LED when it doesn't say they are and the energy efficiency is quite clearly labelled it turns out (G!), but really bulbs like this shouldn't be sold any more when they waste so much energy. However, if you have money to burn and hate polar bears, then these I'm sure will be ideal for your room.5* for looks , 3* for brighness, 1* for energy efficiency.
