Personally I thought it wasn’t like an old school slip. It was far more tight and spandex like. Kind of like a thin body con dress. I would suggest sizing up.The straps are adjustable and comfortable. The material itself is very comfortable and soft. It doesn’t feel cheap. It is good with absorbing sweat and is very breathable.

This slip was not smooth under my clothes. As you can see in the picture, you can see the outline of the top part. Straps stayed in place but I had to keep pulling it down. Pro: it does absorb sweat so it does not show on your clothes. That was a huge plus since it was an outside wedding in 90 degree weather. I sweated a lot and it protected my dress. It is vey comfortable. I just don’t think it is ideal to use as a slip under a dress for extra coverage.

The fabric and construction are nice and it's comfy. It's shorter than I prefer, but it will do.

This is a very nice and soft super comfortable slip. I bought it to wear under my white sundress. Yes I would recommend this slip! The straps are adjustable.

I was hoping it’d be to just above my knees, but it’s actually mid thigh.
