The media could not be loaded. This is a rather nice set of 3 fishing lures, suitable for targeting large pike or perch, or perhaps large bass in a saltwater environment. They take the form of a small carp, with a segmented body which which allows the lure to move through the water mimicking the movement of an injured fish. I am no pike, or even a perch, but I think that if saw one of these realistic looking small carp being trawled past me on a spinning reel, I would feel obliged to take a bite. This is the extent of my psychological understanding of pike and perch, and we have formed an agreement that although "once bitten twice shy", this type of lure is both deceptive and effective.The 3 lures come in a plastic case, with a segmented compartment for each lure, along with a steel tracer with a swiveled clip, and a swivel on the rig end. Perhaps the steel tracers are "overkill", but if you do happen to hook a large pike with particularly sharp teeth, they may come in useful. Two treble hooks hang from beneath the lure, and there is a metal loop above the eye for attaching your line. The 3d eyes are high on the scale of "beadyness", and look pretty convincing, although the flanks of each lure seem to be photo printed with an image of a carp, which within my psychological understanding of pike and perch, perhaps wouldn't be as attractive as something with a more reflective finish. Although they are sight predators, they tend to be impulsive, and don't spend much time studying the detail.This is a decent set of 3 lures, the hooks are sharp and barbed, and well attached to the lure. At the current price of £9.69 they seem like reasonable value for the quality, and time will tell if luck plays a part. Happy Angling!
