It seems silly but for most of my life I settled for the large containers of garlic powder they sell at the supermarket. But upon finishing a large one I probably purchased a year ago, I thought why not try something better. And hey, a California grown product sounded pretty good. Let me tell you, the flavor and smell is 10x better than that of the basic super market brands. I love this stuff. You just need to be careful not to use too much of it at one time, unless you want a real garlic punch. Also, the price was very reasonable for the amount, I'm sure it'll take me a full year to use this. Only issue I had was with packaging. I can't explain it since there was a seal on the jar, but garlic powder did get out somehow and was within the package. I could smell it as soon as I opened the box, and there was a bit of powder sitting there. But maybe it occurred in the amazon packaging factory with a different leaky bottle? I dont really know.

Love this granulated garlic! And that it is made in California is a bonus which I was looking for. The scent is strong, and I compared it to my other brand of granulated garlic and Olde Thompson was more potent with a better garlic scent. It is delicious in so many things, we use it most every day at my home. I also frequently combine fresh chopped garlic with granulated garlic for extra flavor. I would definitely buy it again. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is not organic. It would be great if Old Thompson replaced their lid with a double sided sprinkle and pour lid as I frequently use a measuring spoon or larger amounts for certain recipes and it would be nice if I didn't have to take the lid off to spoon it out. The reason I decided to try Olde Thompson's California Garlic is because we had bought their black pepper and several of us noticed that it tastes stronger, fresher, better than some other pepper brands. Evidently, their spices are fresher or processed better than many other brands.

LOVE THE POWERFUL TASTE OF GARLIC THIS PRODUCT PROVIDES. I WOULD RECOMMENT TO ANYONEWHO LIKES GARLIC. LOVE IT

I never liked plain garlic powder and tried several store bought but this garlic is amazing. I used it all the time. It really is real garlic and is great for a quick addition when cooking and/or adding to other spices. It doesn't even compare to garlic powders offered in the supermarket.Overall, the garlic they use seems to be very good and I will compare this to garlic powders I picked up driving in CA and stopping in the "garlic stores" in Gilroy along the highway. :)

I bought this because a recipe called for it. Once I opened it, my whole kitchen smelled like sweet garlic. Amazingly sweet garlic.And that’s it’s draw: The garlic is sweet, not “peppery”.I can’t wait to use it for all my garlic needs.

Buying furniture or electronics from China is one thing, but I couldn’t believe it when garlic from respectable brands either came from China or didn’t have a country of origin at all because they are not required to provide that information.I’m grateful Amazon has granulated garlic from the US.

Love this granulated garlic it's Super Fresh has an intense flavor it doesn't clump up like other Garlic's usually do that usually don't last because this happens fast especially with the humidity where I live in Puerto Rico
