These work well. I transferred my seedling to these pots once I thinned them out, then transferred to the garden. I will be able to use them again next year I would recommend

I have 9 raised beds for vegetable gardening and they are still not enough for everything I would like to grow. Last year, I had extra strawberries that I planted in some large grow bags, they overwintered beautifully without being covered, and with a week of horrible minus 18 degree temps. Since I alway have extra herb, veggie, tomato, and strawberry starts, I thought it would be nice to have a few additional grow bags to use my extra starts and to be able to simply move them around as the sun moves throughout the summer. This was a wonderful choice in grow bags because there are FIVE - 15 gallon grow bags. The quality of these grow bags are very good, durable and they have strong handles, which will allow me to move them as needed. Additionally, they are very large and deep. I can pretty much grow anything I want in them except maybe indeterminate tomatoes (I just see that as a hassle due to the height). I would encourage anyone who has the desire to garden but thinks they don’t have the right set up to try these grow bags. They would be great for a limited space situation, like an apartment or condo balcony to grow veggies, herbs and flowers. As you can see from my photo, 1 bag (55quart) of potting mix did not even fill up 1 grow bag. I would plan on about 3 large bags to fill at least two grow bags to the top. Remember, while the bagged potting mix is an investment, you can reuse your soil every year by adding back a few amendments/nutrients which will refresh and revive the existing soil. I think these are a total win for an existing gardener or to anyone who has limited space. I highly recommend these grow bags! Gardening is so good for the soul, among its many other great rewards!

The quality of the bags are fine, I thought that these were 5 gallon bags not five 1 gallon bags.

Bags are well designed and durable. Easy to pick up and move around since they are only 1 gallon, but I do wish they had handles to improve maneuverability. Permeable with water like other grow bags. Great to have on hand for springs like this one where we have had quite a bit of rain.

I haven't planted in these yet, but after unpackaging am glad to report that these are a high quality potato grow bag. They seem really durable. These don't have the lower opening like some do, and for that reason I may not actually use them for potatoes, but rather fruits and veggies that harvest above soil. Still, these are very nice, very breathable, and should make planting a breeze. I would suggest and may try the other sizes too. We were offered the 10 gallon size, and I think it would accommodate most anything we try to grow. I would say these are a good buy, in my view.

These are great grow bags. I put cardboard boxes in the bottom to give them more stability and help retain water. I live in a desert so water retention is important. They're huge and great for growing carrots, beets, and potatoes. Compared to my 10lb grow bags, these 15lb grow bags are massive but great for wild growing veggies! Easy to use and breathable!
