Lution XM Lock Lubricant

Has done the job it’s designed to do and loosened locks. I was recommend to do locks every year and seemed to work ok

I used this lock powder on both the key and inside the keyhole, and it worked wonders.The key was hard to insert or remove, but with just a small spray of this product everything moved smoothly again. The lubricant comes as a fine black graphite powder and works instantly. I honestly didn’t expect such great results.

Firstly, it works well in the lock. Lubricating and making the lock / unlock action smooth. That's good and what it was bought for. However, there were no instructions with the product, no information about it at all. Nothing informs you that the product is a fine dust that is ejected in a cloud when the container is squeezed. The first attempt ejected a heap of dust onto the skin of my hand. I then realised that you needed to insert the tube of the container into the lock and then squeeze so the fine powder is squirted into the lock. Once in the lock, as stated above it works very well. There should be a warning note as with the product as on the skin it is itchy and unpleasant and does not wash off easily as well as the powder being wasted. An instruction sheet and a health warning on one side of A4 should not be too complicated to provide?

Whilst for the first few applications, this bottles released the graphite smoothly through the small in the spout left when I trimmed off the closed end, in a short time it has seemed to get bunged up causing me to have to clean out the tiny hole, which is quite tricky. When I managed to get some into my Ultion locks, the graphite worked well in smoothing out the lock action nicely. Shame about the need to keep cleaning out the spout.

I didn't expect to be able to fix a sticky lock for such a low price and so easily. I will definitely recommend this to friends. The nozzle makes it easy to apply to the lock and the bottle probably has enough graphite in it to unstick my locks for years. Good stuff
