Wow!
I honestly didn’t think I would love this gardening tool as much as I do, even though I always wanted to try one. But I’m not going to lie, it takes a little adjustment to get used to using it. It has decently sharpish edges, so make sure you’re only holding the handle, don’t try to choke up on the blade like I did and risk cutting yourself. I learned my lesson, and hopefully you’ll avoid it!It’s extremely versatile and you can use it for just about any regular job in the garden. It’s replaced multiple tools I used to keep on hand and I’ve done 99% of all my gardening this year with this one tool! The handle is super comfortable, and I think the wood they used looks super nice, and it’s very secure, not flimsy at all!Since they used stainless steel for the blade you don’t have to worry about it rusting. I’ve left it out over night by mistake and hasn’t shown one sign of rusting. The blade is also easy to clean, but again watch out for the sharp edges when wiping dirt off it, and then I usually hit it with the hose and shake the water off. It’s very well made, and has a good amount of weight to it. This helps when planting deep because the weight helps you sink it into the soil.I think since it takes the place of like three different tools the value for what you get is definitely there. My only criticism is that the size of the handle was a little on the larger size. I found this to be beneficial in the end, but initially I complained that it was too big for my hand, but truly, on the long term you want the handle that big. Just keep using it and you’ll see that you prefer it that way.I’ve abused this thing in more ways than I’m admitting here, and I’m hard on stuff anyway. So I give my full recommendation for this hori hori, and think any gardener would be better off with this tool!

Nice knife, could have a little bit better finish on handle
This garden knife definitely feels pretty sturdy, and is pretty sharp. I appreciate that it comes with a nice sheath. I do think the handle finish could have been done better, it looks like it was kind of rushed, so there are some gauge marks on the wood and metal, where it looks like a sander or grinder kind of dug in. Some of the wood also has some splitting lines on it, so I think a nicer piece of would could have been used. It is hard to tell if there is a sealer on the wood, so I will probably add one, just because it will definitely come into contact with a lot of water and dirt, so I need to do what I can to keep it in good shape. Other than that, I think it is a pretty good knife, and it is definitely going to make some of my gardening tasks easier.

No wimpy knife in sight with this thing!
This review is for the Hori Hori Knife, Sharp Garden Knife with 6.3 Inch Serrated Edge, Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Weeding Knife with Oxford Sheath, Multi-Purpose Garden Tool for Weeding Digging Cutting Planting. So this knife caught my eye. I'm wanting to get raised beds put in for a large vege garden and this looks like a useful tool. I'm also going to need to clear out some old rose bushes my mom has not kept trimmed and under control. I hate them as I'm sick of getting torn up by the huge thorns, so they're coming out! But this knife looks like it will be very useful, and if it doesn't work there's always the chainsaw! LOL!The knife has a serious blade on it, thick and strong. The tip can be used for digging, 1 edge of the blade is a smooth beveled cutting edge and the other side has serated teeth and a larger knotch behind the teeth but in front of the tang that is seriously sharpened, you could use it to slice cleanly through a cord or rope. There's a nice size thick tang at the end of the blade to protect/stop your hand from sliding up from the handle to the blade. The handle is beautifully made out of some nicely grained wood, listing doesn't say what type other than hard wood, and there is a slight widening of it toward the tang so should help with gripping the handle. I'll keep the wood well conditioned with proper oil on it. There's also a hole in the handle that I'll put a nice leather thong on. It comes with a nice sheath to store/carry it in. The blade is made of stailess steel which should not rust, but a little bit of proper care never hurts...clean the blade after use, dry it well and never hurts to rub a small amount of oil onto the blade. Do be careful as it's sharp! And make sure to keep this out of the reach of children! The knife even has 1-6 inches marked on the blade to gauge when digging/planting... Overall this seems like a well made quality knife that has been produced with clear thoughts of use with attention paid to the details. Great in concept and plan of execution. This versatile use knife would also be great to pack along for camping! The regular price $19.99 per the listing and there is a 10% off coupon right now is a great price! I'm actually shocked it's not more! This would make a great gift for the right person that won't break the bank too! I plan on putting this to good use for a long time!As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

Perfect garden multitool
I love a good multitool. I also love a sturdy, durable multi tool that will keep me from having to carry around an extra "just in case". That being said, this has become a favorite for me in the garden. It's trowel shape really helps to make new flower holes. The depth is also easy to figure out since there's marking on the shovel. The weight feels good in my hand and well balanced. All of the extras that are built in are things I took for granted. I love the twine cutter edge and the sharp side to help ease my trowel into the clay dirt I sometimes find. The sheath is also very well make and durable. It's easy to get the garden knife in and out of and I just overall love this. And for the price? Practically a steal :)The tip is pretty sharp so just keep that in mind!
