Yes, I love epoxy putty
It might seem weird to love epoxy putty or "pool" putty, but I do. Since I discovered it, I've found so many uses for it. No, I don't have a pool.I actually had in mind several projects I wanted to complete in the home. I do a lot of home improvement projects, but there were a couple I was afraid to start, because I couldn't figure out a solution for certain steps. One of them was slate tile, no grout, on my counters. I had the tile and I believed it would look fantastic on my counters, which it does, I might add. However, I couldn't figure out the trim. I installed it on the sides of my counters (right over the old formica) and then did the tops of my counters. I wasn't sure how to do where the tops and sides meet. Enter black epoxy putty. I was able to roll out really very thin tube like pieces and cover the side and top edges. It looks amazing. It's such a great install and there was no other product that would have worked. Caulking would have been awful and grout seemed really messy and something I might have to repeat if it chipped out, The pool putty dries with a matte finish and almost exactly matches the tile. It really looks great. The other place I used it was in the shower, after regrouting the shower walls and the floor. Again, i was going to use caulk where the floor and walls meet, like I've always used. However, about two years ago, I had removed all the caulk (which was mildewy and disgusting) and cleaned everything with bleach, let it dry for over a month (used the upstairs shower the whole time) and then recaulked. Within a short time, that mildew was back. I really thought there must be a better solution. In this case, I used epoxy putty again. I again rolled out tubelike pieces of gray putty, and "caulked" along the whole floor where the walls meet. I pressed it in there, so it really was stuck in well. It looks perfect, and it's been several months-- absolutely no mildew at all and no cracking or movement. So, I really recommend this stuff. It's great. It's definitely waterproof and permanent and dries with a matte finish.

Instructions incorrect
The product is excellent, but instructions talk about mixing the 2 part. Looking at the 4 unlabeled tubes, they all look the same. What's to mix? I was going to send it back, but decided to break one in half and saw the one part is inside the core. So mixed the putty till uniform. It hardens fast, like 6 7 minutes. So go fast. But great product otherwise

Excellent quality epoxy putty
I cut about 1/2 inch of this putty and mixed it last night. I split the mixed ball into two parts; one to fix a (deliberate) leak in a metal tray and the other as a control/test piece. Within 15 minutes the control piece felt hard to the touch and within 30 it felt solid. I let them harden until this evening (close to 24 hours) and the metal tray no longer leaks. The patch feels very solid and strong, as does the control piece.I use epoxy putty a lot in my miniature and prop building work, and this is an excellent general repair/sculpting putty. It hardens quickly, can be drilled, filed or otherwise shaped after hardening and has excellent adhesion. Easy five stars.

Superior Adhesive
For years, I have been using epoxy just like this one, for so many projects. It is so easy to use, so easy to form, and it just continues to amaze me, how strong it is. I’ve actually sanded this epoxy, drilled holes in it, even ran a tap into it to permit threading a bolt into it. You just cut off a section that represents about how much you need, knead it until the colors have blended pretty well, and form it in, around and through the pieces you are joining. I’ve never had a failure with this adhesive. And the unused part of a tube lasts, in my experience, for years. If you haven't tried this epoxy, do yourself a favor and try it. You'll sing it's praises, just like me!

Not the best
A portion of the putty was dried out. I was able to use what I needed. It was a very small project. It is dry and not very pliable.
