This was the second one we have bought! They are perfect! So much warmth and easy to adjust the height so that the chicks can have different levels of heat depending on how close they want to be. We used for 10 chicks and then used one for 32 chicks! They worked great!! This design is so much better than having a heat lamp. Much safer and they are durable! They are also easy to clean. If you have dried droppings you can wet a paper towel and let it set for a little and then it wipes right off.

Used for babies chicks and turkeys. Works great to keep them in and other critter (cats) out Used s brooder plate inside for warmth which worked great. Can take outside and hose off

So much safer than the warming lights!! And it works well. Of course, it's not wise to use this warming method outside in cold weather, as some might have tried, but in a protected area, it's great. My girls have pretty much grown out of this now, but I will certainly continue to use it for the next batch!
