I was looking for an easy way to add some light for the countertops located underneath our kitchen cabinets - an area that was pretty dark. The first set impressed me so much that I ordered a second.Pros:Simple to install (but see note under "Cons").Pretty quick to charge the battery.Produces a lot of light, and you can select the warmth of the light (always white).Motion sensors work well - when I am using that counter space, the light comes on dependably.Cons:Really just one, and the design of the lights made it simple to fix. Each light comes with two metal plates, and each metal plate has adhesive one one side. You peel off a piece of waxy paper, and stick the metal plate to the bottom of the cabinet (you do that when the plates are magnetically stuck to the lights, so that the plates are aligned properly). In one instance, the plate fell off of the cabinet, leaving the sticky layer behind on the cabinet wood (so this wasn't about the cabinet wood being dirty - the adhesive came off of the metal plate). This is near our coffeemaker, so maybe the humidity was a problem. Anyway, as depicted in one of the pictures, each plate has a small hole in the center, so I picked up some (really tiny) wood screws, and used those to re-attach the plate to the cabinet. Pretty sure that's a permanent fix...I don't currently have a need for more than four of these lights (two sets), but if something comes up, I'd buy these again in a heartbeat. The pictures I've included show the mounted light, the metal plates with the screws that I added, and the formerly dark area on the countertop, which is now well-lit.

These are amazing! The installation was very easy, each light comes with a set of self adhesive magnets (that can be permanently installed with the included screws). Just peel and stick! They are very lightweight and slim lined. Each light comes with a recharging cable and the battery lasts quite a while since they are motion activated. You can adjust the brightness and light type to 3 different settings. They look great after installing, no wires hanging anywhere and don't take up much space at all. They performed much better than I expected.

I started off with a single 2 pack of these lights to see how well they worked. However, these lights work so well that I keep buying more of them for use around the house. The reason is simple, this is a very low power motion activated light. So I get the light when I need it (i.e. when I walk near the light) and it also turns itself off when not needed (i.e. when I walk away from the light). All of this for very little power (which means my electric bill shouldn't even notice the energy hit). So I have begun putting these lights around the house in those places I only sometimes need light (especially those places I don't want to have to hunt around for a light switch).Yes, since this light is powered by "USB" (a 5 volt DC power standard), I do have to supply my own "USB charger". However, I own a lot of those chargers and can easily buy more if/when needed. In fact I sometimes buy high end multi-plugs that not only have builtin USB charging, but also have a builtin surge suppressor as well. As an added bonus of this light, it includes a builtin rechargeable battery. This means that the light will work for several hours even if/when the charging/house power fails for any reason (effectively this light comes with its own "battery backup").The reason I only gave 4 stars (instead of 5) is that there were some minor "gotchas" with this light. First of all, while the supplied magnetic mounting plates do work the supplied double-sided tape with them is flimsy at best This meant that I ended up having to buy some "heavy duty" double-sided tape to mount the lights, as the tape that came with the lights failed in less than a week of holding the lights up. Also, there is no option to turn off the charge indicator light (red when charging, green when fully charged) if/when you have the light plugged into USB, so you just have to put up with that indicator light being "always on". Finally, I would have preferred a more robust USB-C connector vs the older (more flimsy) "micro-USB" connector on this light.However, I see those issues as minor compared to the positives of this light. First off the "AUTO" (motion sensing) mode means that the light comes on only when needed (i.e. when you walk near it) and also automatically turns itself off when not needed (i.e. when you walk away). And the low power of these lights means that your electric bill should hardly notice their existence (in fact these lights might even lower my electric bill, as I would then have the option to keep off higher powered lights in areas that would otherwise be too dark). Finally, since these lights have their own rechargeable battery, and are easy to detach from their mounting plates, they could easily double as a portable "flashlight" when needed.

Update: After really liking my initial order I decided to order the lights again and unfortunately the second pair isn’t as great as the first order I received as one of the lights doesn’t hold a charge all that well. The others still have not needed to be charged after about 2 months of use which is impressive since it’s in the pantry we enter regularly. I reached out to the seller to let them know I was having issues with one of the lights and they responded super quickly and have sent me a replacement that has the upgraded battery. Great customer service.I bought this for my storage closets that don’t have lights. I had a rechargeable desk lamp in the closets before and that was ok but it took up space and I had to manually turn it on, this is so much better. The best part for me is that it’s easy to install cuz I’m not a handy kind of gal. I also like that you can customize the light so it’s not too bright and how well the motion sensor works. I live in the coastal bend and realized this is perfect for hurricane season and power outages so I can have light while I’m digging out the other emergency lights and stuff instead of using my phone light. I already ordered more so I can place one in my stairway. I definitely recommend.
