Nicely made and it works. A must buy item if you own a media mod.
Its well made, the threads are smooth and went together very easily, overall quality is excellent, really happy. The price seems painful per gram of parts however you're paying to make GoPro's design mistake go away, you're paying to eliminate headaches, which it does. And installation was very easy and smooth. So far, it seems durable? Fit was perfect. I really can't imagine using a media mod without this adapter kit; I have no idea what GoPro was thinking, but this kit fixes GoPro's mistake and makes the mod usable. A cool little gadget.

No disassembly required in order to access battery
GoPro should take note. This should be standard issue with the media mod!!! Very impressive!

You can't buy a replacement mic cover!
Wish they had these for my hero 7s back in the day. That big bulky box with the adapter you had to buy on top of that was crazy, but I did it. This is like a all in one compact bundle of joy. DONT LOOSE YOUR MIC COVER THEY DONT SELL OR REPLACE THEM. They come off pretty easy to.

When I put this part on and tried to close my media mod it broke my media mod

This prevented me from all of the destructive GoPro Media Mod Battery access modifications on YouTube

Great invention to make GoPro Media Mod Easier to Use
Although I didn’t like the price, the inventor of this item deserves every penny for creating this product. I now look forward to using my GoPro Hero 11 with the Media Mod, as this makes it easy to slide the camera in and out without unscrewing anything. Thank you!
