Great item
The coat is well made, the fabric is lovely and soft, it is nice and long, however it is a very large sizing, I got a 40 and it was huge on me, so i have had to return it.

Great winter coat
This is a classic gentleman's greatcoat in good quality 75% wool/ cashmere cloth. I originally ordered a 40 but found this too small. Fortunately a 44 [46ins chest] was available and this fits perfectly. Delivery was very quick for both sizes and returning the first was easy. The coat has a reassuring weight about it and the colour a good dark navy blue. Overall very pleased with the coat and purchase experience.

Great Coat but better Quality Checking needed
The coat material is warm and thick. It has a real chunky winter overcoat feel. I bought to wear over a suit so i sized up and this fits well.The coat I received suffers from poor quality button fastenings and this detracts from the satisfaction. I started wearing the coat two weeks ago as the cold weather started and already 2 of the large exterior buttons have fallen off. Upon examination I note that the third button is only attached through 2 of the four button holes by a flimsy piece of thread. Had they been sewn on properly all the buttons would still be firmly attached. Not what I expected from something branded as 'platinum'.The one other minor niggle is the platinum taylor logo stitched into the left sleeve. Makes it very hard to remove cleanly and it's not exactly a discrete label.Overall I'd say its a good buy but for the price the quality leaves something to be desired.Don't get me wrong this is a nice coat but it could have been a great coat with a little attention to detail on quality.

Black coat
It was the wrong size. I can see it is good quality and value and am happy to exchange for a size 38 single breasted coat provided it is black and preferably does up at the top

Terrible Coat
A VERY TERRIBLE COAT which looks like a £16 coat.Terrible style, awful quality! Very disappointed!

Gents crombie style coat
Absolutely super quality and fits really well as my hubby is 6' tall and well built.

Tough to recommend.
The fabric and style are great. Unfortunately the good ends there, there's no shape or structure in the coat, and it seems to be cheaply assembled. This coat would either be better if they improved the construction quality and charged more or dropped the fabric quality and charged less. Fake details on the back so it can't be resized to fit the waist better. Poor value for money, with a cloth that doesn't match the rest of the coat.

Excellent design
A very well designed long winter coat. I didn't find it too large. It has long sleeves but in my case that's ok as I have long arms. The little downsides are: 1. It has a strong manufacturing smell that takes a long time to go. 2. As others have said stitching the name to a cuff is inconvenient and unnecessary. We know it is made by Platinum Tailor. If we forget there are three stitchings inside to remind us.3. The epaulettes didn't sit properly and had to be stitched
