Wish I upgraded sooner
I’ll admit I’ve been cheap and have only used factory straps for the 7-8 years I’ve done photography. This strap is insanely more comfortable and practical, I wish I got one sooner. The peak design slide was my other option but it cost 30-40$ more so I went with this instead and it’s a huge upgrade. Easy to adjust and the straps stay on easily with the little ball mounts. It’s not as aesthetically pleasing as the Peak Design but it’s comfy and works well. The strap is a little long but I’m 6’1 so it works fine for me. This is a very comfy strap that you can’t go wrong with. I wish it was a little cleaner looking that’s my only negative. The adjusters are kinda ugly and it’s not my favorite looking strap but it’s not bad. The performance is fine and I’m happy with it.

Fijne strap, mooi materiaal

Extreme comfort
This is easily the most comfortable camera strap I have ever used. I have never skimped on straps, thinking that if we are spending so much money on a camera, it is worth investing in a secure and comfortable strap. I have owned many straps of various designs over the years and recently thought I would give the quirky PGYTECH Air a go and was very impressed, however, I often use a telephoto prime on my Nikon D850 ( approx 2 kg ) and for extended trips I felt I needed something else with a bit more padding. It made sense to try the regular PGYTECH since the connectors will allow me to swap straps as needed with other camera bodies. I was not disappointed. The padding is excellent and extremely comfortable. Reminds me of a Lowepro Voyager I had many years ago and while good for comfort it did not grip well and had a tendency to slip when wearing synthetic fabrics No such problem with the PGYTECH. It grips nicely on all fabrics. Although, not something I do for any length of time, it is also comfortable when wearing around the neck. Few straps are. Unlike the traditional 'seat-belt' straps, the edges do not rub against the skin. The quick release mechanism is excellent and easy to attach and re-attach the anchors, even one handed. Additionally, with the bead design, they are free to rotate, unlike the PD anchors so this means the strap is far less likely to become twisted. I also like that the strap is narrower below the padding unlike the ungainly design of the PD strap. It comes with a pair of spare anchors and these can also be purchased seperately. You also get a good qulaity QR plate with attachment points if you favour the vlogger-trendy style with one anchor attached to the camera underside. In terms of longevity, my older Air strap is still not showing any signs of wear so I cannot comment on how long the anchors last but I suspect it is a considerable amount of time. The anchor cord is smoother than the PD equivalent and possibly less likely to be susceptible to abrasion. The length adjusters are very easy to use and glide effortlessly. I have not noticed and slippage either. If I could find any niggle it is the use of metal parts, since these put the camera and its screen at risk from scrathicng but it only appears on the buckles and is neatly recessed so I don't forsee any issues, unlike PD with their buckle locks and exposed metal springs on the anchor attachments. In terms of value, this is a high quality strap at around half the price of the main rival, and a superior product in my opinion. I had no objection to paying more for a good strap so being competitively priced was a bonus. This is certainly not a low budget compromise and having no brand loyalty or budgetery restraints , I was free to select the best strap for the job. I can thoroughly recommend this strap to anyone seeking maximum comfort when toting a heavy camera for extended periods. That being said, I don't feel it is too bulky for a smaller or lighter camera but there are less expensive, low profile altrenatives. For example, I'll now be be using the Air strap for my F100, or even on the D850 when using a small lens. In short, a reasonably priced high quality strap, that is secure, comfortable and with a quick and convenient attachment system.

A Really Good Camera Strap!
Honestly, this is just an overall really good camera strap! I didn't wanna get the Peak Design one, since it's more expensive than this one, even though they are basically the same. I did a lot of digging online and found out about PGYTECH through Reddit and saw a lot of people hyping it up and saying how it's more worth it than the PD one. And I couldn't agree more. The packaging is nice, simple, compact. The strap itself looks very sturdy, I tried pulling it with my hands as much as I could and nothing happened to it - nothing broke, the breaking mechanism works amazingly, so you don't have to worry that your strap will elongate while there is weight on it. I love the fact that you get a base plate which you can mount on your camera - and it's ARCA Swiss compatible! Which is amazing, keeping in mind that's the usual standard for most newer tripods, meaning that I don't even have to remove my PGY base plate from my camera so I can mount another plate to suit my tripod. The mechanism for the little links you mount on your camera and hook on your strap seems a bit more safe than the one compared to PD and you won't accidentally misclick and disconnect your camera from the strap - no need to worry about that! It's also comfortable to wear. But to be honest, literally anything is more comfortable than the original strap you receive with you camera, haha. However, the only downside is its length - I am quite tall for a woman (175cm) and I have it on the shortest possible length and sometimes I wish it could go even shorter. So, for shorter people, this product may not be as suitable as it is for me. For reference, I carry my camera like a messenger bag - across my body. Again, overall, I really like this strap and it was a good investment! I totally recommend it to others as well!
