These pens worked great on several faded print heads. Each printer took just seconds to clean and the pen could be cleaned by wiping it on the receipt roll.

I was quite pleased to spot these thermal printer cleaning pens, having got into a bit of a mess with my new thermal printer the other day, when its reversing process damaged a label and got bits of paper and (worse) sticker residue all over the print head. I managed to get it mostly cleaned using isopropyl alcohol and cotton wool buds, but these looked as though they would be less hassle if they worked.I’m pleased to say that they do. The pens have medium thickness barrels and chisel tips that allow both broader strokes, and more detailed application. There had still been a little gum residue on the print head of my machine from where the label had stuck and ripped (although not enough that it was causing me problems after cleaning with isopropyl alcohol), but a couple of strokes with one of the pens got this right off. I'm assuming that these are alcohol pens, and the rigid nib structure gives good coverage without putting too much pressure on the sensitive parts of my printer.Generally very pleased with these. The only thing I didn't like was that although they're shown supplied in a box, they actually came in a plastic packet.
