12 oz. Rug/Carpet Protector Spray

This review is primarily about the bottle and not the product inside. It looks like an aerosol spray -- like spray paint. The kind of can where you push down on the nozzle and out comes the product continually until it is all gone (or your finger gets tired holding the button down). But that is not the case here. This can requires you to pump it like a manual hair spray bottle. It is very odd. I purchased it thinking it would be easier to use than the trigger spray, but I was very wrong. This can is very hard to use as you must pump it with your finger for every spray. I'd recommend getting the trigger spray instead.

I bought this to protect my sunroom chairs and patio chair. It was easy to spray and use. I haven't really had a bad spill. But I am hoping it will do the job of protecting.

I bought this product to treat my new sofa, futon and area rug. So far, there are no stains and the furniture looks good.

received the product and dispenser did not work so I was unable to use the product.

Several years back I ordered two units of Vectra, it was one of the best purchases I ever bought. I have used it on shoes, high-end leather garments and more. It works as advertised an a single can goes a long ways. My last can is about 1/4 full and when it's empty I'll definitely order more.Order a can today, when you receive it perform the following test: retrieve a single facial tissue from your favorite brand that is not infused with lotion (not that the lotion would interfere with this test) then give facial tissue a couple of light sprays, allow to dry. Quick Drying. Head to facet, turn on water to a moderate level -- using both hands stretch out facial tissue hold by its edges, place it under running water. Watch water run off like magic, then remove facial tissue. Notice it is as dry as before the test.I did not believe it either -- sounds to good to be true -- however in this case it is TRUE, it actually works!I very highly recommend this product for anyone wanting to protect expensive garments etc. from damage that may not be rectifiable.
