doesn't stay afloat
The build quality is decent for the price, though the plastic feels a bit lightweight and might not withstand rough handling over time. The main gripe I have is that it has wheels, and that it does not float in water (we got this hoping it float on water).

Smaller than expected
Overall this is a good toy, it is slightly smaller than expected and the plastic is a bit brittle so it could be prone to cracks but overall i would recommend. The music element sets it apart from other toys. Would make a good present.

Fun Cruise Ship model
Delivered in its own presentation boxInside the box sits this toy cruise ship it measures 9.4 x 1.1 x 2.1 so small enough for kids to hold and manoeuvre, it takes 1AAA ( not supplied )battery which powers it's lighting features and sounds .The cruise ship is also on wheels , turn the lights and sound on and you can hear the engine sounds, seagull calls and upbeat music .This is a great toy for kids over the age of 4 and good value for money at £17.99 .

makes change from cars
This OTONOPI cruise ship is presented in a box so ideal for gifting. I was expecting something bigger and less printed on details. You need 2 x AAA to get the blue lights on the top to work and the 'music'; no volume control and very tinny. Priced at £17.99 at the time of this review - very expensive for what you get

Fanfare?
At £17.99 I would have expected 2 x AAA batteries to be included with this. The boat is an OK size though and it was a vehicle my son was missing from his collection. Without batteries the boat can be propelled forward by pushing it and lifting and pushing again - on a wooden or lino floor it can build up quite a speed but it doesn't move well (if ever) on carpet and definitely not a plush rug. I find when my son uses it on my carpet it makes marks but doesn't look like it damages the carpet. Personally I'd recommend not putting batteries in. There is a button on the bottom of the boat to press which will light up the two areas on the top. My son was disappointed it didn't light up the windows. The sounds are questionable. There's a honk and then it's like a fanfare - I don't really get 'cruise ship' from this. The sounds are loud and once the button is pressed you need to wait for it finishing. My son is 7 and he really enjoys playing with his cars and vehicles (this one usually precariously balanced on top of a Lamborghini as he takes them on holiday) so it does have a lot of play value. I'm just waiting for the batteries to run out - although my son is also disappointed he can't put it in the bath.

Just a small cruise
This is just a small plastic cruise with light and sound.Be ready with 2AAA batteries they are not included. The size is smaller than I expected but the sound and lights keep the kids entertainment for a while.

Alright
I'm too keen on this toy ship. It is vastly overpriced for what it is and what it can do. With the batteries in, all it can do is give a loud honk, then plays a little music quite loudly, with no off switch which can be annoying if the button is accidentally pressed. It doesn't move on its own. To move it, one has to push it, then the wheels gather momentum and roll the ship a little further.I have allowed my 8 month old to play with it and it has provided a small amount of entertainment, but not enough to hold attention for long. The cardboard box it came in proved more entertaining.
