Brilliant, well made wooden game, nicely designed, based on the classic ‘Mastermind’ puzzle. Having played it, future improvements could include little slide out or separate trays for each player to store pieces in rather than using the box underneath and having to put the top piece elsewhere, and some sort of catch to keep it sealed shut when not in use so the pieces don’t go everywhere as we’re currently using the label that came with it for this purpose. Apart from that though, it’s a fun strategy game, designed for two players, where you use reasoning and logic to crack your opponent’s code. It would look lovely on a coffee table and would also make a great gift. Suitable for both adults and children. It says for ages 15 years and up in the description, but my 10 year old enjoyed playing this-I would say it likely was designed with adults in mind, but is probably suitable for ages 8 and up, but be careful with younger children because of the small parts. Highly recommended.

A game that is built on the same rules as Mastermind from my childhood. Instead of the coloured plastic pegs you get wooden ones with a graphic on them. Someone sets a code to break and then advises on your guesses what is correct and what is in the right place using black and white pegs. If you like Wordle or indeed Mastermind you will enjoy this. It is beautifully constructed in dark wood throughout and is not very big (6" square) so perfect for holidays or travelling. Suitable for everyone apart from the very young - easy to understand but addictive. So nicely made and attractive it would make a great gift. If I had to nit pick I wish the top was hinged to retain the pieces.
