It's not found in most socket sets, but it's super useful if you want to properly torque the lock ring on a mountain bike cassette with your fancy torque wrench. The lock ring tool requires a 1" socket. This appears to be typical Craftsman quality, which is why I selected this over a cheap knockoff on Ali.

Not much to say—this 15/16-inch shallow socket does exactly what it’s supposed to.
