Returning to the truth.
Starting with the fact that God (the creator of all that is) is the author of the Holy Scriptures and that He cannot lie nor make mistakes is truly the best starting point for understanding the Bible. The apologetic statements in this book are overwhelming. I am truly thankful for the friend of mine that introduced me to the writings of Ken Ham. My beliefs fall in line with Mr. Ham’s writings, but until now I could not explain answers to the questions of others about those beliefs.

Really Informative for
I was not sure how I felt about 6 day creation. That's why I bought this book. Worth your time

Clear point of view
Ken Ham's point of view is clearly stated. A good, and dare I say necessary, read for anyone who is on the fence or wants a clear vision of why the theory of evolution degrades the Gospel message.A bit redundant at times. I found myself skimming over duplicated points. Don't get me wrong - I really liked this book, however I think he kicked that dead horse a few times too many.

foundations are foundational - surprise!
Let's face it a person who doesn't believe God when He explains what happened when no humans were around won't believe Him when there are.Believing God's word is the foundation of faith, morals, law, science, etc.Get rid of the foundation and you have the Liberal/Modernist/Emergent church where the only thing Christian is the content less word Christian. Where everything must be redefined to fit modern times, since it isn't the word of God, but only contains the word of God, whatever God is redefined to.The author covers the half a dozen main compromise positions, which please neither the Bible nor Evolutionist camps. He also points out the difference between observational science (that you can experiment, observe, redo and get the same results) and historical science (guesswork of what might have happened some time in the past with no observers {Except God, and he is tossed right out}. Creationists happily agree we do use the same historical science evidence, but atheist/agnostic scientists deny it, insisting they can know exactly what happened, even though they have to constantly rewrite it.

This is important to read
I have been heartbroken and yes, angry as my pastor of a "conservative" church has been teaching on Genesis 1-11. I am horrified to learn that he believes in evolution, not a literal Adam and not a global flood. Some of the things he says are exactly what Ken says these people believe. Ken quotes people in his book and my pastor is saying the exact same things. I have reread this book and am reading portions to my family so they will be reminded of the truth. We have been ardent creationists for over 30 years and my children now say they don't even want to go to church anymore because of what the pastor is teaching right now. May God have mercy.

Eye opening!
To often biblical scholars have taken the truths outlined in God’s Word and have turned it upside down with guesses. Bible believers need to know the truth and they will find it here in Ken Ham’s book.

Clear and Thoughtful Evidence of the Young Age of Earth
I liked the author's clear points of proof which adhere strictly to Scripture. The greatest difficulty, for me, was so much repetition though perhaps he feels it's necessary to wake us up.

excellent
I have been a Christian since jan 2011 I didn't give much thought to the age of the earth at the time. I remember stumbling on an answers in genesis article and thinking why does the age of the earth even matter? As long as we believe in Jesus it's ok. After reading several articles by Ken Ham he has won me over to his way of thinking which is to take God at his word! This book is a great way to explain the importance of taking genesis literally it's a must read for any Christian. God bless Ken Ham and answers in genesis 😄👍

essential reading for those who believe in the word of God regarding the creation of the world.
very good book, essential reading for those who repudiate the theory of evolution and who trust fully the word of God not modern scientists who have lost God amid the wonders of his creation.
