Baby Happy Baby Sad (Leslie Patricelli Board Books)

Both of my kids have loved these Leslie Patricelli board books. This one can be a nice invitation to talk about feelings with older toddlers, who will find some familiar situations in it (the joy of getting muddy, the drama of sharing with peers, etc). The illustrations are attractive, funny, and easy for babies and toddlers to decipher. I would recommend this for ages 6-36 months.

This was such a good purchase!! After reading someone’s review on how they use the book, I did the same and it worked on getting them to understand no, no baby type of activities! They even occasionally yell out no, no baby when they see others doing things we shouldn’t be doing! Would highly recommend!

These books are amazing. Simple yet charming. My son is a big fan and so are we! All of the baby books in this series are pretty much the same in regards to charm and fun. We have several!

We have most of the Leslie Patricelli board book. They are simple and have been the first books we've read to our babies. They are simple a short enough to maintain their interest. The illustrations are well done. My kids look forward to the light of "other" things at the end of each book and we point to each one while they say them. They are board books, so are very durable and have last through multiple children.

Cute book. Teaches kids to verbalized Their emotions . It shows a picture of baby in the bath and says "baby sad" bath time should be encourage! But other then that cute book

I usually read longer stories to our infant boy because he cannot yet hold his head up.However, we lay him down so he can look at the book from the side and he loves this one.The colors, cute and simple drawings in the book is the key i guess.And the story is really cute with simple words and our son is really looking at each drawings with great concentrations.Me and my wife decided to buy all the series.

My almost two year old loves this book. So cute watching her sympathize with the baby while try to cheer him up by giving him a hug and kiss. Great way to teach children that it’s okay to feel your emotions!

I bought it for my baby actually but my 2.5 year old also loves it. It was interesting to him to think about how the baby was feeling, and what made the baby happy or sad.

My almost 4 year old loved this book. Reading experience on Kindle is also very good. She started sharing after seeing only one illustration from this.
