Professional Charcoal Pencils Drawing Set - 8 Pieces Soft Medium and Hard Willow Charcoal Pencils for Drawing, Sketching, Shading

My first time buying these. I am no artist but I like to draw to take my mind off things. I used them in my sketch book so my only complaint was that the black rubbed off on other pages but that’s not really a negative per say lol that’s probably more so user error than anything since I’m new to these. They seem to work amazingly. They are smooth when drawing with them and don’t break easily! Def worth the money!

They say willow so I assumed they were like willow charcoal just in pencil form, they really aren't. Willow charcoal erases very easily these do not. They are more like a regular charcoal pencil. It's fine, it just isn't what I was looking for. I'm in a beginner drawing class in college and finding quality supplies has proved challenging! If your looking for charcoal pencils these are good, if you are looking for willow charcoal these probably aren't what you want!

This set of charcoal pencils are a good addition to any artists collection, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned artist. My daughter absolutely loves all forms of art, but sketching has to be one of her ultimate favorites. With that being said she really likes these pencils. The three different grades (soft, medium, and hard) are excellent for drawing, outlining, shading, blending and much more. You should be aware that if you use a pencil sharpener to sharpen these charcoal pencils you will more than likely break the tip. You will definitely get a better result if you sharpen them with a utility knife. This way you can be assured you are going to get the cleanest, sharpest point possible. All and all these are some solid charcoal pencils and worth giving a try.

These willow charcoal pencils are a great set for beginners like myself. The willow charcoal provides a smooth texture that's perfect for shading while the pencils themselves are high quality. This set includes 8 pieces of soft, medium, and hard pencils that cater to a variety of sketching, shading, and drawing needs. I found myself using the soft and medium pencils the most when drawing while the hard pencils received less use. They're also comfortable to hold. I would recommend these pencils to anyone looking for a nice set of charcoal pencils.

Blends super well! High quality

This is a pretty decent set of pencils for a student or beginner. I'm not great at sketching or pencil drawing so I try not to spend too much on supplies. They are pretty comparable to some other pencils I have. They aren't willows but I knew that from the photos. I don't know enough to know if willows can come in a pencil so I just assumed they were not.

These charcoal pencils are very nice. Although I received these as an Amazon vine reviewer, I am actually a portrait artist, and I predominantly work in general charcoal pencils so was very pleased to see these were available to review. The pencils are very smooth to draw with, the range of hard, medium and soft is decent and can achieve a good range of tone. Even with the hard pencil a dense black can be achieved. Although they arrived intact and thankfully seem to sharpen to a fine point with no breakages, I was a little disappointed that the minimally packaged pencils arrived in a thin padded envelope. It could potentially render them useless if the delivery is less than gentle. Excellent product though, and I would absolutely recommend.

These are pretty good professional level charcoal pencils. First, I like the fact that the 8 pencils are divided into two hard, three medium, and three soft pencils. Hard pencils are the lest used and also they last longer since they don't need to be sharpened often like soft and extra soft charcoal pencils.The pencils handle nicely and are smooth. The soft pencils have a rather creamy feeling to them, close to vine and willow charcoal sticks. Also, no issues when sharpening, they are sharpened easily (I use a box cutter blade to sharpen my charcoal pencils).Overall, no issues and they are quite nice willow charcoal. They layer nicely, and with a gentle touch, you will be able to add darker tones in many layers.This is a nice fit idea.
