Good!
As someone trying to get more into fitness, protein powder seems to be all the rage when it comes to working out and this one tastes great. It's not too strong so mixes in well with other additions and doesn't taste too sweet or synthetic. I've seen a few PhD Nutrition products about before and seems like a high quality brand and this protein powder has good contents.

Very low carb, really versatile
As someone following a very restricted carb lifestyle, I have been using whey protein powder for some time. I don't make shakes with it, but use it in recipes and to make low carb lattes & cappuccinos. I already have the PHD brand in a Diet Salted Caramel, bought from a high street store, which is 3g of carbs per 25g serving, this Vanilla I've received, the bag marked "PHD Life", is even lower at 1.5g of carbs per serving, which is even better!I don't make shakes, but use it with water to froth to make lattes (only 1 teaspoon needed, which is only 0.5g of carbs), I mix about 2 teaspoons with egg & baking powder to make pancake/waffle batter and I add it to my ice cream recipes to improve texture, creaminess and flavour. The vanilla flavour is quite sweet, so a little goes a long way in cooking & coffees, and the macros are even better than the powders I was using before.

A bit chalky
Not my first protein powder so, it does dissolve and it does taste ok in milk but in water tastes a bit sandy, chalky.Tried in ricotta and in cereals as well and it's ok but had better for less price so....

Tastes great and mixes well
I used PhD's Casein a few years back for thick shakes in the morning. The whey tastes brilliant, mixes well, would definitely be interested in trying other flavours too.

Tastes great
This protein powder tastes delicious and I have used it to make protein cookies and cakes. It’s really good quality and on special at the moment so even better value for money. I like to blend a banana in with it and milk for when I am using it as a meal replacement and it’s delicious.
