A boot you can trust 100%! ~~~ UPDATE 90%
What an awesome shoe! Very comfortable right out of the box. I normally wear a 10.5. The 10.5 was a 1/2 size to big. I ordered a 10 and the 10 fit perfectly. I read every review before purchasing. Lots mention that the insert is uncomfortable. I find the insert that comes with the boot very comfortable. Wearing the boot right out of the box for 10 / 12 hrs my feet have no pain or blisters. The boot the very light weight which I just love.I have found traction to be very good even on top of tile roofs. I have sprayed the boot with garden while wearing and also have worn the boot in the rain just loving that my feet stay dry. The look of the boot is excellent and very well made. Great purchase!!!.* Ordered 1/2 size smaller to fit my foot perfectly!UPDATE ~ Ive been wearing the boot now for about a month. I love this boot but I'm having issues. The velcro strap that holds the zipper up top separated / pulled off. Im gluing back as im writing this. Another issue is the toe rake protector in front of one my boots is pulling apart.Still love the boot but needs to be toughened up some as Im not using in the most rugged conditions.

Best Boots Ever--Under priced!
I am 6' 3'' and weigh 246 lbs probably 275 fully outfitted. I have ankle pain and a bad back so shoes are very important to me. I have been a cop for 34 years and have worn a wide variety of boots, including all varieties of Rockys, Danners. bicycle shoes, etc. By FAR these are the best work boots I have ever worn, hands down and I prefer to wear them off duty as well. I typically walk several miles a day and I always wear these boots. I cant explain to you how they work, but its a sturdy, soft, supportive, luxurious feeling. They are like pillowed moccasins or something with a very sturdy sole. My wife gets upset when I want to wear them out on dates. I have shown several people these boots and they also bought them. I ride a BMW GSA 1200 and they are what I wear doing that as well.I just ordered another pair because I want a nice pair for work.Seriously, just buy a pair and try them on and walk around the house for a minute. You will not believe it.They run true to size. The upper is very snug and supportive and I love the inner sock and the side zipper.I'd pay more than they ask and actually just threw away my Red Wings because of these shoes.

very well made boots
These boots are excellent quality. I have worn them for almost two years now and had only minor problems with them.1- the bit of rubber that comes up in front of the toe has started to peel in on of the corners. this is not a big deal though because it doesn't affect performance2- They aren't very breathable. With the leather being waterproofed and not having the gor-tex liner there is nowhere for air to escape. On the other hand when the boots get wet they don't adsorb any water. To fix this wear them when its cold so your feet don't sweat3-After walking through 30ish feet of muddy water that was about 6 inches deep i noticed a small leak at a seam. To remedy this i could have rubbed in some leather waterproofing stuff but I'm too lazy (:4- insole that came with them sucked for standing all day in so i got some Dr schollsPros-1- the zipper held up very well and the only time it doesn't work 100 percent is when my boots are laced really tight.2- extremely comfortable3- Good for running in4- fit like a glove5- leather held up well only scuffs, no deep scratches and i did use them hard6- fairly warm, this could be a pro or a con7- because they are waterproof they wash off easily, which is important when they are covered in mud.to sum it up i would buy these again and i highly recommend them to any one looking for a good colder weather tactical boot

NNY Approved
I ordered these as a gift for my husband who is a NYS CO. He's tried a few different brands and was always complaining of leaking boots, sore feet, no grip. He does doubles, so 16+ hours in these boots at a time. We live in Northern NY( think Canadian border) so there's a broad spectrum for our weather pattern. Pouring rain, ice, humidity, snow.Ice- nothing grips ice, but these do better than most to keep slipping minimalRain/standing water- in puddles and rain (and some nasty incidents on the dorms), these have kept his feet dry. If the material on the tongue gets really wet, you'll feel it but thats about itSnow- these are warm boots. They keep him dry, have good traction in snow and keep him warm with a normal sock on. With snow comes the dreaded salt. It eats and corrodes everything. Most zipper boots fail in winter because of salt. The zipper on these boots has held up to almost daily use, no matter how dirty or if salt has gotten in them. That was a shock. It makes it so much easier to take them off. These boots are not breathing boots. Summer in them is a bit of a beast but he deals with it for for comfort and waterproof aspect. In his 12+ years in the prisons, the past year is the first year he hasnt gritted his teeth taking his boots off. His feet aren't sore, the ankle supports don't rub him raw. Now, this is from a CO stand point. That means lots of walking, standing for hours, some sprinting.Comfort- we put in an aftermarket insole after a few months but other than that, he says they're comfortable even at the end of a long shift. No more coming home in pain with wet feet and sore ankles or calves because of junk boots. After a year of using these boots, there's one small split on the side. It doesn't allow water in but it's there. They clean up nice still and the tread is still good. Pictures show before and after cleaning. I will be buying him another Belleville set that's better for summer, but this brand has won our loyalty.
