I've been watching YouTube videos and kept hearing rave reviews about this e.l.f. Soft Glam Foundation on mature skin. The powder I had been using for years just wasn't cutting it anymore. I figured at the $8.00 price point if I didn't like it, it was no big deal. Boy, not only do I like it, but I love it! I purchased Fair Cool and for once it was the right color for me. I also bought the e.l.f Dual-Ended Cream + Powder Brush to pair with it. I'd never applied foundation with a brush and it's a game changer! You will not go wrong with this foundation and compared to the really expensive foundations out there this is a win, win, win! Please do yourself a favor and try it.

I love this foundation, it’s now my favorite, it goes on smoothly, doesn’t settle into creases (I’m 68) stays put all day, gives me good coverage, where others can be too heavy or they don’t cover imperfections at all and the color is perfect I put the foundation on after my moisturizer and it’s not shiny or greasy. Hoping this helps someone like me - I’m in my late thirties and my skin is definitely showing signs of aging. I haven’t worn foundation regularly in years because I couldn’t find one that wouldn’t settle into, and accentuate, my fine lines, making me look like a crusty baked good by the end of the day. This popped up several times in my various searches to find a good medium-coverage foundation for mature-ish, oily skin with lots of red sun damage to hide. elf is hit and miss for me - the products that are good are REALLY good, but the products that are bad are REALLY bad. Took the leap and I’m so glad I did! The shade is a surprisingly great match, the coverage is light to medium and very buildable, it hides my redness just enough and doesn’t accentuate my fine lines. The finish is beautiful - satiny with a bit of a glow. My only complaint is the coverage fades after a few hours. I didn’t have my setting spray with me so perhaps that will help.TLDR; great foundation for maturing, oily skin. Definitely needs a setting spray.

This stuff works pretty good for a medium coverage foundation. It matches my skin tone, pretty well and it’s well textured to go on smooth. I use a primer before hand so the foundation goes on more smoothly. Overall, this is a pretty decent medium coverage foundation for the price and as a plus it’s vegan..

I was hoping to like this, but it wasn't meant to be. My first time trying it was pretty bad. It clung to dryer spots, sunk into any crease or pore, and looked heavy. It is a lighter coverage but somehow still looked heavy/cakey in areas. I really wanted this to work, so I put extra effort into my skin prep. I used a sponge and less product. It still looked patchy. It sunk into my smile lines, forehead lines, and around my nose. I tried for a third time with a more gripping primer, sponge and brush, and grail powder. It just seemed no matter what combo of product I used, it didn't look good. If I can get a nice even application, I think it would be a pretty foundation.

What a wonderful, luxurious foundation. You can apply it with light, medium, or full coverage. You can find your PERFECT shade match. There are so many to choose from. If you have cool tones in your skin, the cool tone shades really perform. I will certainly purchase this again. It's now on my daily makeup routine. I love the satin finish. The smell is minimal and is not an oily or dewy finish. The price point is right on. I can't believe how much money I have burned on expensive foundations. E.l.f. I love you.

I love this foundation!! I wear it nearly every day and I find it to be perfect for my combo skin. It stands true to its claims to be buildable coverage, and (along with the rest of my makeup routine, which primarily happens to be elf) leaves my skin looking hydrated and even. Cons: sometimes it’s a bit slippy, and I used it on my sister’s face (who has much smoother skin than mine) and found that it had trouble staying in place/blending with the other products. It could have just been the way I was using it though. For the most part in my own use, it works perfectly.

Now, I don't wear makeup often, but they are right when saying this is for older women's skin. Now, I do look younger than a lot, but I have seen on YouTube older women who agree with me. Recommend.
