I liked the concept but almost all of them have broken. I was hoping it would be a good way to keep the chalk mess to a minimum but they’ve break and fall out and become no different than a regular chalk stick at that point. It might be more suited for an adult but won’t last with most young kids

The media could not be loaded. I found out that they are good for chalkboards but they’re also good as crayons! Woo! Makes them extra fun!

Nice colors but hard to erase. I bought it for our inside chalk board and it is super hard to erase off the board even with chemical cleaners.

Appreciate the mess free concept, no chalk dust. Nice variety of colors and love the carrying case.

This is a innovative little set with all pros and no cons. It feels like it's a crayon when using one, but it's chalk and comes off with the eraser. My 2 year old grandson played with one for about 20 minutes on the deck. He wrote on the boards, the grill, the chairs, the back door, and pretty much anything that couldn't run away (like the dog...). There was no breakage since the chalk stick is protected by the plastic casing, no chalk dust, It started raining while he was outside and the chalk came right off everything. I especially love the little case that holds all the chalk as well as the eraser securely.

Overall the "dustless" chalk set is very nice, vibrant colors, and we really like the holders. The main issues is that they don't seem to be chalk, but more of a wax mix. No issues for sidewalk art, but for my daughters blackboard they are a major PITA to clean off, you basically have to wash them off the chalkboard.
