Go small
We went with the lg/xl went with the measurements he was 22.75. Was too big. So go smaller

Slips constantly - straps are a strange length
Had high hopes for this brace, however it slips constantly and the straps are so long, they never create a secure fit. It’s a poorly designed brace that is better to be without. So many better ones on here.

fit me fine - after following sizing chart despite poor size descriptors
A lot of the reviews so far for this Copper Compression DualFlex Hinged Knee Brace complain about the sizing, and, based on the accompanying pictures, it seems they all have a common cause: they got the wrong size. I think this is largely due to the choice of S/M and L/XL descriptors The sizing chart says to measure the circumference of the thigh 5" above the center of the knee. 19-23 inches is S/M and 21-26 inches is L/XL. I'm not an extra small person. I'm over 6 ft tall, over 180 lbs, with thighs that are over 22 around the thickest part. However, based on the indicated measurement (17 inches), I would need something like an XS. That's not a thing here, so I got the S/M. Based on the pictures others have posted, they should have, too.The other source of sizing complaints is insufficient velcro on the straps. For my correctly-sized brace, the top strap does not have any such issue. The bottom strap does reach beyond the area where the velcro can attach. But, the velcro is not the real strap adjustment mechanism. The 3-bar plastic loop is. The velcro keeps the ends of the straps from sticking out and flapping around. And once you get past the velcro attachment area, there is a snug webbing belt loop that the strap can be tucked into instead. (See my pics). The sleeve material is like a wetsuit, except for a window of breathable fabric behind the knee itself. After inspecting the material, I couldn't tell you what "copper infused" means. I don't see anything metallic about it. Maybe it's infused with the sweat of active duty police officers. In any case, I would not rely on this brace as a Faraday cage.

Alright knee brace
Wasn't the most comfortable for me, but I'm unsure if that's due to the product or to user error. The quality seems to be pretty decent, and it does somewhat work. I think it's alright overall, but your experience may vary.

3 stars - did not work for me, but the construction seemed good
I have knee problems, from my brief stint as an ice skater and multiple other factors, so I thought this might be a good tool to have in my repertoire. However, I think it is just too hard to get onto my leg. I have a hefty thigh, so it took a lot of pulling and straining to get the brace far enough up my thigh - because there are no adjustable straps to encircle your leg, you must slip into it as if it were a pant leg. When I finally got it on, it was fine, but it was such a chore and a workout to get it on and off my leg, that I can't see myself using this in the future (in face, I avoid it).It seems I have one of those shapes where my thigh thickness really hampers the use of most knee braces. Perhaps a larger size might work, then again, maybe it would then not fit properly on my calf. Your mileage may vary

Didn't listen to measure by their standard.
It to tight on knees and they told my to measure needed a large not medium. Hard to get on and off
