After buying a slightly cheaper, all plastic option that was rubbish, I thought I would take a chance with this copy of a well known Brand at a similar price. The difference is Night and Day. The foam "fingers" have good flexibility in the feed direction, whilst having just enough friction to prevent kickback and to keep tension on the fence without too much pressure. Functionality wise its a 10 so far, and at a fraction of the cost of the named brand it offers excellent value for money.

Ok, but a bit awkward to use as wood does not easily push by the foam teeth, especially if unplanned timber is being cut. However, anything that improves safety must be a good idea!

Useless - doesn’t attach to the board

Item was delivered quickly and has worked well in all applications. I have even used it to asssit on a height setting where it was adjusted quickly and easily and the fence held it in place while it was mechanically secured, acting as a third hand. Great job!

Part looks good but unless I'm missing something, you can't fix it to the table. Shame really.
