Age waits for no man, and it was time to admit that my hair isn't as thick on my crown as it once was. I also have to acknowledge the greys creeping in too...I am not one for hiding this kind of thing though, preferring to age with grace and a pragmatic attitude, however this product was an interesting one to try out.Application is easy - it's applied like an aerosol directly onto the hair. The effects are immediate, the colour covering really well and looking very convincing indeed.It lasted all day and washed out easily with a couple of goes with the shampoo in the shower.There is, however, a downside that I found out. If you run your fingers through your hair, or even scratch your head, the solution comes off onto your fingers, very clearly so. The issue is worsened if you get your hair wet inadvertently, for example in the rain. There is also the chance of it getting transferred onto your clothes, if you're not careful. So, there is the potential for it getting quite messy...Overall, the effects are very good - it looks extremely convincing, the coverage and colour making a big difference to thinning hair and fading colour. Be prepared, however, for not being able to scratch your head or run fingers through your hair, and don't get caught in the rain...

I have very dark brown hair and am grey at the roots. This is a great colour match for my hair. It is great for me as I wear my hair in an up do. This spray is like a strong hairspray so not easy to brush through but great for updos because I can put my hair up and then spray the grey parts that I can still see front and back and in a flash the grey has gone and my hair looks much thicker. If you have a style that you need to brush though I'm not sure it this would be too stiff for you but you might like to at least get grey roots coloured and some root lift if using in the root area only. It is really effective and fast. The only downsides are that the tin of spray won't last that long (but none of the roots sprays do) and also when I woke up in the morning my ears and neck had gone dark brown but a baby wipe sorted that straight out. As I wear my hair up I don't need to wash it too often so each application will last me a few days. So for my updo it's great stuff despite the slight downsides I have mentioned above as they would not prevent me from using it or buying it. Ilmay be a good idea to cover your pillowcases/bedding with something or wear a turban/headscarf in bed if you don't want to mark anything. Providing it's thrle right colour for you it looks really natural plus is so fast and easy to use, especially for those of us who need to spray our roots at the back of our heads too

I ordered the Brown Instant Hair Thickener & Root Touch Up Spray for myself.I started to get white/grey hairs in my early twenties and I now rely on a combination of hair dyes and root touch up sprays to conceal the increasing volume of grey hairs on a regular basis.I've tried various hair thickener and root touch up sprays from leading to independent brands.The product comes neatly packaged and the branding is neat and appealing.The 100ml bottle is convenient to use sparingly when you need the added reassurance to hide greys.It's easy to apply the spray and I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't end up on my clothes.Even with leading brands, the spray can often cause splatter marks on anything nearby.I wouldn't necessarily describe the product as brown, as it's bordering on black. My hair is dyed dark brown and this was noticeably 2-3 shades darker.The spray is extremely fine which is a positive and ensures application remains on your head.It does a good job of hiding grey hairs and acting as a thickening solution for receding hair.The open nozzle means that you may be unable to direct the spray to a specific area, such as; behind the ear.You can try to do this, but you may end up with spray coverage on your ear, neck and other areas.I've found the product to be quite messy which is the major drawback.You can end up with the product all over your fingers, hands and other surfaces.On washing my hair in the shower, I've found that the product is very easy to wash out.However, it is very dark and the almost black splatter marks and product spreads everywhere.This doesn't happen to such an extent with the previous products that I've used.It is very easy to remove marks caused by the product with a light scourer and rinse.Overall, quite a messy product but conveniently priced and ideal for urgent hair touch ups.

This hair concealer is quite effective, but it's really dark, so if your hair is light brown, it does become too obvious. It's easy to use, just like hair spray, leaving the hair a bit stiff. The coverage is really good, but you have to be careful when applying it, as it's very easy to miss and spray your skin.Thankfully, it does come off with water, but it might not last too long if you start sweating or get caught in the rain. It's a good resource as a temporary fix if your hair is dark brown. I imagine they must have other colours, which I haven't had time to research…

This is a great product, does the job in covering roots but be wary it does come out super quick. Unfortunately we've wasted a little bit as when we unpackaged it the spray cap wasn't on and the only way for us to put it on was to put it on and press down spraying some of the spray on to some cardboard.You don't get a lot in the can but will last a few weeks. I got the brown colour but it seems quite dark, looks more black but it did the job and not too noticeable.Good value for money. And helps cover an insecurity of mine. Thanks!
