Recently, I had the opportunity to try out these elastic waist cargo shorts, and I'm here to share my thoughts. Even after several wears and washes, the shorts held up admirably.- Color Retention: The fabric retained its color, which is essential for maintaining a fresh appearance. No fading or discoloration here! Looked great after a wash!However, there are a couple of areas where these shorts fell short:The drawstring is where things took a disappointing turn. While the elastic waistband is comfortable and forgiving, the drawstring itself felt flimsy. After just one wash and dry cycle, it started to fray at the ends. I expected better quality, especially considering the price point. A reinforced drawstring or a sturdier alternative (like a flat cord) would have been a significant improvement. I ended up removing it without issue.but....Here's my biggest gripe: the lack of buttons or Velcro closures for the side pockets. Cargo shorts are all about functionality, and having secure closures is crucial. Unfortunately, these shorts rely solely on the depth of the pockets to keep your belongings in place. If you're not careful, your phone or keys might slip out when you're on the move. A simple button or Velcro closure would have made a world of difference.In summary, these elastic waist cargo shorts excel in comfort, softness, and overall design. However, the subpar drawstring and missing closure options for the side pockets prevent them from being a perfect choice. If you prioritize comfort and style over pocket security, these shorts might still be worth considering. Stained on the lower inside left leg of shorts. This will never happen to me again because I will never be tricked like this!

These are nice shorts and fit perfectly out of the bag. As soon as I washed them, they shrunk to a point where they didn’t fit anymore.

These are very comfortable, and I like color and length.

Unfortunately it took a month to deliver which limits the use of this short.
