Gravitrax is a great toy - hours of play

I like this loop accessory but it needs a lot of speed for the marble to properly execute the loop. With that speed, things happen quickly so the marble is in and out of the loop almost too quickly to see, and the marble is fairly well hidden as it traverses the loop. I like the loop addition and I’d still buy it but if ranking additions for for visual impact I’d buy other additions first. On the plus side, there’s nothing to reset and once installed it works reliably and consistently.

Bought along with a starter set, this is the piece that kept my 4 yr olds attention fixed, and we spent the most time (so far) trying to get the speed 'just right'. Pros It's a fun piece. It adds 6 more track sections. Cons I think we are spoiled with the base set, this is over-priced for the contents of the box. I am pretty sure it wouldn't have killed Ravensburger to put two of these in each box. Some assembly required. Seriously, if this is a challenge... find another game.. However, with the cannon appearing in the starter set, this is probably the first of the current expansion packs you should look to buy. Although, if you are seriously addicted, you have already bought a 2nd starter set already..

Bought a a Christmas gift 2 Christmases ago. He was 6 at the time. He still gets it out and plays with it with friends.

Purchased the main set for my 8 year old son who loves building and constructions toys. He thought it was the coolest thing ever. Lots of different pieces and plenty of pre-designed tracks to set-up. Great product! We also got the expansions. The loop was neat, if you position it after the magnet launcher it shoots around really fast.

The ball goes so fast that its hard to see the loop but if you do a video in slow motion you can see the ball looping
