LOVE IT!
This is my 18 pound 8 month old sleeping soundly in a life jacket! My husband and I have grown up on the water and are raising our three kids on the water. After three kids this is the first life jacket that an infant can actually wear comfortably. It doesn’t cut into her neck (or lack thereof) and she can actually nurse and relax. This is the first review I’ve ever written because I felt compelled to let everyone else know how wonderful this life jacket is for little ones. We live in the US on a small lake. Although this life jacket isn’t technically USCG approved, it functions way better than any of them indicated for infants under 30 pounds.

Worth the money for comfort, not great at floating.
We have a boat and our son was 9 mo to about 14 mo, 24-27lbs, this lake season. It fit great and was the only jacket he didn’t cry wearing. It didn’t really bother him at all, didn’t make him too hot, and was comfortable enough for him to sleep in it and play. My only complaint is that it’s not very buoyant. He loves bobbing and we always had him in his jacket and a floaty while in the water, but a couple times we tried swimming with him in just his jacket and it made me nervous, I had to hold him up. Great for riding on boats but honestly, if you were to ever need to bail out and swim, you’d need something else to go with it, like a floaty. That’s the only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5.

Great purchase!!
We have a 8 lb 5 week old baby girl. We love to spend summers at the cottage on our family boat. Trying to find a life jacket that would fit her so small was very difficult. I was able to tighten the straps on this jacket and even tested it in my bathtub. My baby girl fell fast asleep while floating. We were able to take her on the boat knowing she was safe in case anything happened. Best purchase. My favorite part is she will be able to use it for next summer as well. Well worth the money.

Unmatched fit for smaller babies under 20 lbs!
This was a great purchase. Being a lake family who spends weekends on the boat, the safety of my newborn boy was a huge concern. Research led me to understanding there was no true great option for infants under 25 lbs. the smallest USCG approved jackets tend to flip babies face down in water and don’t fit smaller babies either. Way too big. This option looked promising and it delivered. Fit my son well at 3 months and could so easily lay and nap with the life jacket on comfortably. I was confident with my our first swim and every one after. We keep a hand on him at all times in the water. Take time to adjust fitment for proper buoyancy. The handle at the top works very well for any lifting out water if necessary.

Comfortable for a toddler for hours
I was hesitant to spend this much for a life jacket that would likely only fit our 16 month old grandchild for one season. But it was the best purchase ever. This life jacket was COMFORTABLE so that arms and legs and torso had freedom of movement so that she was comfortable on a boat as well as in the water. In the water it reliably put her on her back altho I think its still possible that if a child fell forward onto their face they might not be able to right themselves. So it doesnt eliminate the need for constant close supervision, but the amazing comfort of this jacket was worth every penny. No crying baby on the boat! Placement of the handle on the back of the head cushion also came in very handy. LOVE this vest!!

Best one yet
22 lb 11 month old absolutely loved this pfd. We have gone through 3 different infant life jackets and all of them caused discomfort and caused our trips on the boat to be shorter than planned. This one allowed baby to have full range of motion with no collar bunching up on his cheeks and neck.It appears and feels like it is very well made. My only negatives are that it is not US coast guard approved, and that we didn't find this one sooner!

Can't Put a Price on Peace of Mind
Granted, this is a super expensive life vest. But that's the only negative about it. My daughter is 17 months old, LOVES the water, and is fitting into 9 month clothes. So basically, I have a kid who's very mobile, has no sense of danger, loves to splash, and is too small for a Puddle Jumper. Awesome combination. This life vest gives her all the mobility she needs. It's not perfect, she had a small adjustment period when she'd try to sit in it and just topple over. But she learned how to counterbalance herself. She wore it to the beach, lake, and swimming in Papa's pool and only got pissed when she fell in and floated on her back (looking up at the sun). She could play with her toys, sit and stand easily, and run around with no problems. Whenever she was in the water with someone it was easy to hold her upright so she could still "swim". So yeah, a little pricey, but the peace of mind that comes with it is worth every penny.

If you have a baby near water YOU NEED THIS
If you have a baby near water, or own a pool and have friends with babies coming over you really should have this. I searched and searched for a life jacket that would work for a 10 pound baby, they don';t seem to exist except for this one.The jacket will turn your baby face up while most of the others will maybe float them head up, but as soon as they move their head to the side or put their mouth towards water they will end up face first in the water. We tried that out with a few different jackets in our pool holding baby.Actually have 2 of these now so there is one at the cottage and one here at all times. It only takes a few seconds for something bad to happen, please PLEASE prevent it.

More Comfort
I purchased the Salus Bijoux Baby Red life jacket after our son and daughter-in-law brought our infant granddaughter for a boat ride wearing the infant life jacket they had for her. The poor baby, as they sat her on their lap or the seat of the boat, the jacket rode up her body with the zipper squishing into her face and in particular her eyes. She could see nothing, she couldn’t move and she looked horribly uncomfortable. As soon as we got back to shore, I went to amazon.ca and order the Bijoux.Delivery time was as expected and the jacket provided much more comfort for our granddaughter. She is able to move her arms and legs much more freely and no more zipper in her face/eyes.

Best life jacket!
Best life jacket I've used for little ones!!! Babies are usually miserable in the standard jackets, they push up in their face can't sit ect. This one is so comfortable for my little one, my daughter is 7 months and 17lbs and she could sit on her own in it and look around and when she got sleepy the back works as a pillow😀 wish I'd had it for my two older girls
