Great product, definetly recommend it for a quick and ...
Great product, definetly recommend it for a quick and cheap storage solution for laptops. i'm using it in RAID 0 and JBOD mdoe and is working perfectly even without the supplementary power cord.

STOP DO NOT BUY THIS -Poor Quality, soldered connectors come loose !!!
STOP -DO-NOT-BUY !This caddy is cr*p, after i used it 2 or 3 times, the connection to my computer became intermittant, after a couple of times restarting my computer, I realised something was seriously wrong with it. I immediately disconnected it to remove the drives I had installed inside, but the screws lost their grip,so I had no other option but to drill out the screws. But it gets worse !.The intermittant connection (constant stopping and starting of drives) has damaged my 1.75 terrabyte drive, and corrupted 2 partitions of the other drive. So now i have totally lost 2 years and £100's worth of electronically downloaded games and utilities. On closer inspection of the connectors inside the caddy, it showed the problem was caused by poor quality soldered connections on the usb connector. Needles to say i am Fuming at my Loss and that such a poor quality product was allowed to be sold on amazons website !

Nice design but check drive thickness
Nice design but not compatible with all drives do to thickness limitation. My 9.5 mm 2 TB drives did not fit so I'm returning
